Respected Sir,

This is just a review of how I am doing the upayas of feeding/gifting. Please correct me if I am doing any of this wrong?

1. Feeding the crows (Appeasing Saturn): I feed them bread(wholewheat or normal bread) and biscuits, wheat chapati. All smeared with Mustard oil.

2.Feeding birds for Mercury(Strenthening Mercury): I feed them Sabut moong and biscuits or bread. Somehow the birds are not eating Sabut moong.

3.Feeding Dogs(Appeasing Ketu): I feed them bread(wholewheat or normal bread) and biscuits, wheat chapati. If I miss a Sunday, then I have to wait for a week. It is not happening regularly. I feel very bad about this. Once you had told me that I can feed the Dogs any time I feel like. Is it as effective?

4.Roti and Tandoor: There is a confusion on the term Roti. What exactly is the ingredient that goes to make a roti in North Indian terms? In our house, Roti means that made from Rice flour. Chapati is made from Wheat flour. We don't have a tandoor in our house. I don't even know what exaclty is a tandoor. I make the roti/chapati on a iron pan on a gas stove burner.5.Gifting:Finally, whether it is Chana dal/mustard oil/sabut moong-> I go to the temple and place the karak objects in front of the respective diety. Chana-in front of Jupiter idol, Mustard oil- I pour it in a can in Saturn temple and Sabut moong-in front of Mercury idol.

Rice-I just gift it to a temple. I don't place it in front of the idol of Moon.

Dear Aqua,

[ 1 ] good

[ 2 ] May be the birds can not eat the whole moong, try feeding them

split moong.

[ 3 ] Yes, you an feed the dogs any day. Sunday morning before sun

rise is the time allotted to Ketu, and that is why I suggest that

time.

[ 4 ] Roti is what you call chapati, of wheat flour. We never use

chapati of rice flour. Tandoor is what you will see at a road side

dabha where truck drivers from north have their meals. It is an

earthen oven where in the 'chapatis' are baked.

[ 5 ] Yes, that is just fine.

Sincerely,

Priya
