Dear Ajay,

[ 1 ] Yes, certain upaya may not be very practical in a different

culture. But in your case not eating meat and liquor should be

applicable.

[ 2 ] The upaya for transit planets:

Upaya for you :

Saturn : Bad

Offer 10 sabut baadam { whole almonds with shell} at any temple for

5 days regularly. Each day bring back home from the temple , as

blessed prasaad , 5 almonds out of those offered by you. Keep them

at home tied in a yellow cloth. No one should eat or throw them away.

Jupiter : Bad

Offer at a temple a little chana dal for 7 days regularly.

Rahu : Bad

Immerse in a river 8 pieces of lead { a metal } once.

Ketu : good; no upaya needed

Upaya for your wife :

Saturn : medium

She should walk a part of the way bare foot whenever she goes to a

temple.

Jupiter : Very good ; no upaya needed

Rahu : Bad

Immerse in a river 8 pieces of lead { a metal } once.

Ketu : good ; no upaya needed.

Sincerely,

Priya

Thanks Priyaji,

We will do the upayas as suggested by you.

How long does the transit period lasts.

Is it urgent for me to do the upayas or can I do them next month in

India.

Thanks

Respected Priyaji,

I have done the transit upayas, only the 10 sabut badaam is remaining.

In temple do I need to get it blessed from Pujariji or can I just

pray to God and keep 10 and then pick 5 almonds out of these.

Thanks for the quick rely for brother's query.

Dear Ajay,

No. There is no need to get them blessed by the pujari. You just

place them infront of the deity praying that they be blessed by the

deity and then pick up 5 of them and bring them back at home.

Namaste Priyaji,

1.)

I have started the 10 badam upaya for the Saturn transit.

I have started collecting 5 blessed almonds in yellow cloth, these

have to be kept for how long.

2.) I was reading your articles about gems and old remedies. I am

wearing pukhraj since 5 years and I have also started keeping a haldi-

ganth wrapped in yellow cloth in my leather purse, is it okay.

What are the old remedies for ruby and red coral?

3.) We have bought a silver elephant for my son and keeping it in

ganga jal , does the whole elephant needs to be in water or just his

feet will be fine.

Thanks and have a great day.

Dear Ajay,

[ 1 ] You have to keep them for two and a half year till the saturn

moves out of Leo. After that immerse them in a river.

[ 2 ] Keeping a small haldi ganth is better than wearing a pukhraj.

For ruby one can keep a copper coin without a hole in it, and for

red coral one can keep a few grain of saunf or a piece of neem tree

bark.

[ 3 ] The entire toy elephant must be dipped in water. If you don't

have enough ganga jal, you could use rain / snow water.

Sincerely,

Priya
