Guest guest
Respected Sir, In our religion, we have saintly persons called Tirthankars considered as Gods (although they are more known as detatched persons in actual sense). They are personalities who have achieved Moksha and are not the ones who grant us material boons. For every such Lord, there will be a couple called Yaksha and Yakshini who serve the Tirthankars and these are the ones for which we pray for material boons. Usually, we pray the Yakshinis since they are considered Shakti and most powerful. Now, coming to planets, each Tirthankar is considered to be equal to or " Lord " of different planets. So, we have Mantras for different Tirthankars or Yakshinis relevant to different planets. For example for Shani, we have a mantra for one Tirthankar Munisuvrat. My friend astrologer usually gives the mantra for a respective Tirthankar for each planet, for Jains. Do you see the need to go with my traditional prayers? or the general prayers? I am comfortable with both. Regds Aqua
