questions on upayas [ II ] Dennis

Dear Dennis,

 

For any act to be taken as an upaya, the mental vow { sankalp } is

essential. If that were not so, all our activities would amount to

one upaya or the other. Your worshipping Lord Ganesh as a routine is

one thing, but worshipping as a part of an upaya { after sankalp }

is another thing.
