Dear Sanya,

 

For those with Ketu in the 1st house, the Lal Kitab does not say

that one should keep a dog as a pet in his house. Feeding dogs is a

general remedy to keep Ketu appeased, which is true for those who

have ketu in the 1st house. That could be done without having to

keep a dog as a pet.

As for keeping a dog as pet with Rahu in the 7th, yes the Lal Kitab

prohibits it. But for those who can not do away with their pet dog

for emotional reasons there could be an upaya too.

[ 1 ] I am primarily concerned about the Lal Kitab remedies. I have

no comments to offer on the remedies you might pick up from books in

the market.

 

Your problems :

 

[ 1 ] You have Jupiter and Rahu together in the 8th house. Therefore

do these upaya :

 

[ a ] Wear a gold chain with a small square piece of gold.

[ b ] Immerse in a river 400gm jau after rinsing it with milk.

[ c ] when ever you visit a temple, offer a little chana dal.

[ d ] Apply haldi tilak every day.

 

[ 2 ] Yes, one of the Lal kitab scholars { Sumat Prasad ji} has

suggested that the son can plant a Peepal tree in a cemetery for the

long life of his father. I would not advise it though. I have my own

reasons not to agree with Sumat Prasad ji's opinion. No time to go

in for that here.

 

[ 3 ] For your sister :

 

Ask her to recite this mantra as often as she can:

 

Swayambara Parvati Mantra

 

" Aum hreem yogini yogini yogeswari yogeswari yoga bhayankari

Sakala stavara jangamasya mukha hridayam mama vasamakarshaya

akarshaya Swaha " .

conditions are met in his horoscope, he will have rin. Yes,
