You will have your mercury in the 12th for the varsh , a position of debility for budh. Therefore I suggested that you respect the women folk mentioned and avoid the things of budh . Therefore Mars which is at 29d 43m in mithun{ 2nd house} and the moon which is at 24d 55m in sinh { 4th house } will move to the 3rd and 5th houses respectively after the bhav-spashth. I prepare the varsh-phal only after the bhav spashth.Therefore the planet moon placed in the 5th house will stay in the 5th during the 34th year. Mars and ketu { from 3rd} will move to the 2nd during the 34th year. But I cast the varsh phal kundali only after I have made corrections in the janma kundali according to bhav-spashtha. This is what I had explained in my earlier message. Lets take your example, your ascendant is at 3d : 06m of Brishabh. The ascendant is the center of the first House or the pratham bhav. The first House spreads to about 15 degrees on either side of the Lagna. What will be the boundaries of a bhav is derived through a mathematical process. A bhav could spread for 27 degrees to 32 degrees; at higher latitudes the variation is more. Here for the sake of the argument I assume that each of your 12 Houses are of 30degrees each { some thing very rare } , therefore your first house would spread from Mesh 18d : 06 m – Brishabh 18d : 06m i.e. 15 degrees on either side of the Ascendant. The second house will start at Brishabh 18d : 06m and so on . Any planet placed between these boundaries would be considered in the first house. Suppose there is a planet at Mesh 24d : 55m { like one of your planets }, it will be considered in the first house , and for the rasi it will be in Mesh. Similarly . You have mars at 29d : 43m in Mithun which would be in the 2nd house if no bhav-spashtha is calculated. How can that be? The center of the 2nd bhav will be on or about 3d : 06m. In order to consider the Mars in the 2nd house we will have to assume that the bhav spreads to 52 degrees , instead of 30 degrees. Because your mars is some 26 degrees away from the center of the 2nd bhav , therefore in order to include the Mars in the 2nd house we will have assume the spread of 52 degrees , then only Mars will fall within the boundaries of the 2nd house. Suppose a person was born with the same lagna as yours i.e. Brishabh but at 15degrees , in his case the planet which is considered as placed in the First house in your case , will be considered placed in the 12th house . and the Mars would be considered placed in the 2nd . Although both of you were born in the same lagna the placement of the planets will be different. Why do we have to work out the Bhav-spashtha , has been explained by me in earlier posts. Briefly , it is to differentiate, to whatever extant possible , between all the people born during the two hours { approx } a lagna lasts. If the bhav-spashtha were not done , all the people born during those two hours will have an identical planetary placement , but with lives that would not be identical. You have mars at 29d : 43m in Mithun which would be in the 2nd house if no bhav-spashtha is calculated. How can that be? The center of the 2nd bhav will be on or about 3d : 06m. In order to consider the Mars in the 2nd house we will have to assume that the bhav spreads to 52 degrees , instead of 30 degrees. Because your mars is some 26 degrees away from the center of the 2nd bhav , therefore in order to include the Mars in the 2nd house we will have assume the spread of 52 degrees , then only Mars will fall within the boundaries of the 2nd house. Suppose a person was born with the same lagna as yours i.e. Brishabh but at 15degrees , in his case the planet which is considered as placed in the First house in your case , will be considered placed in the 12th house . and the Mars would be considered placed in the 2nd . Although both of you were born in the same lagna the placement of the planets will be different. Why do we have to work out the Bhav-spashtha , has been explained by me in earlier posts. Briefly , it is to differentiate, to whatever extant possible , between all the people born during the two hours { approx } a lagna lasts. If the bhav-spashtha were not done , all the people born during those two hours will have an identical planetary placement , but with lives that would not be identical. [ 2 ] For the Ashtak Varg the most authentic book is that of Swami and Iyyer. They advise to consider the bhav and not the rasi.
