Guest guest
Anjali Jee, My response is embedded within your letter in curly brackets { }. Dear Rajinder Ji Very sorry for not responding erlier. my computer crashed and i was unable to get online for a few days. Thank you for your guidance and opinion. I have decided that i will not do this upay for my son and will refrain from doing any other till he is atleast old enough. just wanted to ask though what the 'issues' are that you do see in his horoscope. Could you pls also tell me when the copper coin upay is actually done and what is the benefit derived? is it for extension of life? {This upaya is recommended when Sun and Rahu are together in a horoscope and are BOTH being malefics. It must be first ensured that both the planets are working against each other. There are other, far simpler and equally effective upayas for this combination. Let me say this, and most LalKitab practitioners will agree with me, that there is NO known upaya that will "extend" life. The very basic fundamental theorem - if may use this term - of LalKitab is that "beemaaree ka bagair dawaaee bhee ilaaj hai, magar maut kaa koyee ilaaj naheen." You can't "extend life." You may be be able to ward off evil effects of planets to some extent - and that is about it. However, with Mercury as the third planet along with Sun and Rahu as in your son's case, this upaya is neither needed nor recommended at all.} because this astrologer tries to make everyone do it. my mother in law is also v heavily into astrology and she has made her son (my husband),her daughter and her son-in-law do this upay apart from doing it herself. can it have negative effects? {More than likely yes, it may prove to be harmful if it is done needlessly. I don't understand the principle behind this upaya but my educated guess is that you are "destroying" or (nashT kar rahe hain) or "punishing" Sun (copper) by burning him all night long. If your Sun is somewhat benefic, you are waving him good bye for a long time to come.} she wants my son and her husband to do it as well. Without seeing the horoscopes, it would be unwise on my part to comment on the need for this particular upaya. It is possible that the planets may indicate this upaya in ALL these horoscopes (highly unlikely.) But in reality, it is the astrologer's commercial angle - by taking the whole family to the Ganga river (perhaps one by one because he claims that other blood relations are not to communicate/meet while the upaya is being performed) he may be making really really good money out of it.) I think in my over thirty plus years, I may have suggested this upaya no more than 10-12 times. In any event, my hats off to this astrologer for being so very creative. Wow!! she also wants me to do naak chedan. is it necessary for me? my dob is 26th jan 1973, 1:20AM, new delhi, India. she says it is good for my father. i feel that due to my lack of knowledge on the subject sometimes i get taken for a ride. can any upay have negative effects? Going by your horoscope, this upaya will be a meaningless exercise (plus un-needed pain in the nose.) It may not harm you but it is going to be of no consequence. This is a remedy for malefic Mercury and generally, in the case of women, this remedy is not performed unless specifically indicated by comprehensive analysis.} i am sorry to ask so many questions, i am just worried that this astrologer is taking my mother in law for a jolly good ride.... {Exactly. One couldn't have said it better "being taken for a ride all the way to Haridwar"} i also wanted to ask. i am in the family way and due in 1st week of july. because my son was c-section this child may also be if problems occur. if my gynae lets me decide a date for the c-sect, cd u suggest a good day/day bet june to 1st week july give birth to this baby for overall happiness and health of the family. {I have heard that people are getting muhurats for this purpose and are trying to figure out the most auspicious time (by figuring out most favorable time for a "good and strong" horoscope.) But the nature does not work this way. A good looking horoscope may not necessarily give good results. Another fundamental LalKitab premise is that each planet has malefic as well as benefic effects and thus a seemingly "strong looking" horsocope may not give "fantastic" results, if artificially manipulated. But of course, this opens floodgates of wealth for astrologers who will calculate the most favourable time for a baby to be born. My recommendation would be to let nature take its own course and have trust in God's judgement. However, if your baby is born at a predetermined auspicious time (obtained through your astrologer), please do let us (the LalKitab forum) know after the baby is born), we'd all be very interested in knowing about it and would love to analyze the horoscope. However, I would recommend a general remedial measure - buy a new steel tumbler ("glass" for drinking water) and as you go to the hospital for your delivery, fill it with milk and leave it at home. When the baby is born, the steel tumbler (with milk in it) should be left in a temple. This is a highly recommended and a very effective general remedial measure for expectant mothers. I wish you and your coming baby the best of health. Please keep us posted.} Thank you again for all your help. Best RegardsAnjali Mail Stay connected, organized, and protected. Guest guest
Dear Rajinder ji, Here in I would like to place a logical guess work behind copper coin burning remedy. I believe by this Sun is being powered by Mars(Fire) and finally any excessive heat is being flown into water and also giving it neccessary support of Moon. This is just a probability that stroke me and it stand fully to be incorrect. Kindly correct me where wrong for which I shall remain thankful.
