Guest guest
Dear Friends Recently some members evinced interest in knowing what is the rationale behind throwing thigns in water. After studying four different versions (interpretations) of Lal Kitab, the following may please be noted: If a planet is benefic or in exaltation, the native should NOT donate or throw things related to that benefic planet. Otherwise he would lose the goodness of those planets. If a planet is malefic or in debilitation, the native should NOT accept in charity things related to that malefic planet. otherwise his condition would be further worsened. Suppose, a native has strong saturn and he is doing business in iron & steel, if he donates objects of saturn like oil and iron or throw them in water, he would lose in his business. Only if a person has a malefic or debilitated planet, he should donate objects related to that planet. As per LK, as rightly observed by another member, throwing one piece is like throwing away the negative part and retaining the positive part. As regards throwing objects related to such malefic planet in running water the reasoning is that throwing items of food related to such planet would be a big langar for all the fish, frogs and other creaturs that live in water. Throwing objects in running water means it is a GUPT DAAN given to water. When a person donates food in a langar, he attracts so much publicity and even get buraa nazar from his enemies. Also that person develops ahankar because of the publicity he attracts. Similary when he donates silver, gold, copper or any other object to someone, there also he gets the same problems as mentioned above. So throwing these things in water would bet treated as GUPT DAAN and they give the best results. Hope my learned fraternity either correct or add to the above. With best regards Arjun
