Guest guest
Respected Rajinder ji & Friends, First of all let me thank you for informing me about case study of twins in the recent past. I will go through it soonest possible and revert. Secondly, Sir, now let me put something very interesting before everyone. LK is an intelligent, practical and efficient application of all the available principles of Vedic system and this thing further solidifies faith in LK. LK talks about different aspects. If someone will notice carefully it will be found that they are intelligent application of traditional principles only. e.g., 6-8 aspect/relation which has been named as takraav ke graha in LK is the same principle of Vedic sytem that denotes losses, stress, deception, etc. Another example is Dhoke ka graha i.e. any planet in 10th to any other planet will deceive former one. Notice carefully it is the sign aspect propounded by Sage Jaimini & Parashar. But here (LK) it is applied beautifully, practically and simplified. Signifactors which are the bases of Vedic system are also the soul of LK although little different from Vedic system. Principle of dispositorship is working behind jad ke graha and Pitri Rina, etc. These are just a few examples and there's whole lot to it left. A request : I have written these to mark the beauty of LK and never to deride it or anything of that sort. Even if sometimes I criticise something it is only to probe deeper. Here I also opine that LK is the only system that amalgmates mundane matters and people with astrology and presents itself as a balancing method for free flow of life and this makes it quite unique. Kindly correct me wherever I am wrong as I am just learning this divine science and seek assistance of all of you. Hope to get continous blessings & support of all the friends here. LalKitab is perhaps the only astrological system that addresses this topic. Pt Lalkitabee Jee, I and some others got into this discussion, at length. Please do look in the archives. Having looked into more details than many others, I am firmly convinced, rightly or wrongly, that LalKitab is an independent system. Of course, it borrows the techniques of Vedic astrology when it comes to making of a horoscope but once the horoscope is charted, a uniqueness is introduced - "raashee ChhoD nakshattar bhoola, naa hee koyee panchaang liyaa..." So to that extent, it owes its origin to Vedic astrology. The properties of the twelve houses do differ in many respects versus traditional astrology as do the entities and effects belonging to different planets. The aspects and the yogas (combinations) differ radically too. Similarly, some of the techniques may be somewhat similar to Nadi but the actual implementation of those techniques as applied in LalKitab is unique. Pandit Roop Chand Jee developed it independently with, of course, some divine guidance, some intuition and lots of hard work. Again, my intention is not to deride the achievements of Vedic, Nadi or KP systems - these were formulated by God-gifted sages and geniuses (genii?) and who am I to comment on those? But just as those systems have their own peculiarities and interdependence of certain techniques, so does LalKitab. Most of us have experienced that everytime we read Lalkitab, we get better understanding and find meanings that were hidden or masked before. Initial readings can be frustrating and may seem overly simplified, yet the more one reads, the more one derives out of it. I personally feel that one life-time is not enough to understand this system. It is not a solicitation in any way, shape or form but for detailed background of LalKitab, I'd recommend that you look at www.OriginalLalKitab.com. The website has been dormant for a long time, but the background material contained there is worthy of attention of every LalKitab enthusiast. Sir, I know it was first written in 1939 and last edition came in 1952 with 1171 pages but I beg to disagree with anyone that this system was developed then only. Here at this point I don't want to enter into any debate but I will request all the revered members to kindly go through few Nadi granths and observe their technique. You will get a glimpse of LK there. But let me also add that LK is one of the most advanced systems but we are doing injustice to it by being rigid with technicalities of it. For instance what reply do LK have for twins. I have a chart in which twins are born with difference of 4 minutes. One survivied and another died within 3-4 days. These case studies should make us sit collectively and realise full potential of LK now. Fuelling a new research is what is intended by the mail. And it has to be collective effort as no single person can be 100% on anything. I request people of your stature to come forward and show us the way to enrich Lk with observation, analysis and experimentation. I hope this initiative will get support of all you revered members. Thanks in advance, Best regards Jai
Guest guest
Nahata Jee, Thanks for bringing about the similarities of LalKitab, Jaimini and Parashari aspects. Similarly, a while back, Mr. Jagmeet Dheendhsa had pointed out that the mahadasha period in LalKitab system is exactly like Yogini dasha. Even with those similarities, I still assert that Pt Roop Chand Jee neither consulted nor knew the classical system of astrology ( I can dare say that.) So much so that the gochar (transitions) or Saturn's sade-sattee and similarly, other popular considerations were absolutely ignored by him and he used to admit that he neither knew about those nor did he need to know because these considerations were not necessary for Lakitab system. Those who have met Pandit Jee will vouch for this. To say that LaKitab can't predict much about the future is also flawed. If one understands the planetary periods, then one can predict the future. Use the varshphal table to figure out planetary positions for a given year and you can, quite precisely, predict events. LalKitab hasn't specifically talked about predicting the future much but all the required ingredients are there. LalKitab's emphasis is more on "defensive" astrology. There is so much that one can derive out of LalKitab that it is amazing. I experience this (almost) everytime I pick a horoscope. The amount of time and hardwork spent on LalKitab will not go to waste provided you read the authentic material (or a good transliteration.) Best wishes and thanks again. Guest guest
Respected Rajinderji, First of all let me thank you for understanding and appreciating my approach. Secondly my single motive behind bringing similarities was to express vastness, refineness and holisitic approach of the LK. Next, Sir, I fully agree with you that LK is quite capable of predicting future even to the seconds with its unique technique.Although quite different from the Vedic system. Sir, here I will request you to give detailed account of Mahadasa(of LK)and throw some light on the discussion that I had initiated on some modern topics under the subject " Important discussion " . I shall remain grateful to you for this favour of yours. Thanks in advance, Best regards Jai --- Rajinder Bhatia <rajinderbhatia2002 wrote: > Nahata Jee, > Thanks for bringing about the similarities of > LalKitab, Jaimini and Parashari aspects.
