Guest guest
Dear members, I have the following basic Lal Kitab questions. I'd appreciate if members can give their opinions on these. Or Perhaps we can have a discussion based on these questions.... Regards, Anshev B. Bhardwejj. ------------------------- Lal Kitab Basic questions: 1) Benefic/Malefic: Results of each planet in a certain house has been given.. One is when benefic and when malefic. For example. Sun in 8th, two sets of description has been given. One is when malefic and the other is when benefic. How is it determined when the planet is benefic and when malefic ? or that is determined after asking questions from the native ? 2) Upayas: Certain upayas are done once, yet others are done for 7 days or 10 days and certain ones continuously for 40-43 days. How is it decided which ones are to be done once and which ones are to be done once and which ones are done for 7/10/43 days ? 3) Upayas: Upayas are suggested to be done one at a time. If a person is doing an upaya of putting copper coin in a gutter for 43 days, can he/she not visit temple during this time ? or eat in the kitchen or put a potli filled with saunf (cumin seeds) under the pillow during this time ?... as these are all seperate upayas such as - going to temple is another upaya ? 4) Natal/Vashphala: What kind of things are seen from the natal chart and what kind of things are seen from the vashphala ? If a native comes for Lal kitab analysis, which types of remedies would be done first - natal remedies or varshphala remedies ? why ? 5) Single/conjoined planets: If a chart has a planet in a certain house, conjoined with other planets, would the description of that planet in certain house be valid or would the description of the combination override the fact that this planet is also in a certain house ? For example, if Venus, Sun and Mercury are in 8th, would the seperate upayas for then all being individually in 8th house be valid or the upaya of Sun + Mercury + Venus override individual ones ? Guest guest
Dear Anshev ji & Friends, I am not an authority on LK only a learner of it.But with all my little knowledge I am trying to answer the following questions and will request all the senior members to correct me wherever I am wrong. Answers are written with the questions in different colour for better comprehension. Apart from the answers that have been given by me I am waiting for the rest of the answers to come. Kindly correct me whenever I am wrong. Regards JayAnshev B Bhardwejj <anshevb wrote: Dear members,I have the following basic Lal Kitab questions. Bhardwejj.-------------------------Lal Kitab Basic questions:1) Benefic/Malefic: Results of each planet in a certain house has been given.. One is when benefic and when malefic. For example. Sun in 8th, two sets of description has been given. One is when malefic and the other is when benefic. How is it determined when the planet is benefic and when malefic ? or that is determined after asking questions from the native ? To have the answer of this question we will have to stop categorising planets as natural benefic or malefic (this is just my opinion) and should take them as collection of characterstics and things (living and non-living). Just that. Now LK already takes this approach (almost like Vedic) and defines planets' effect in this light only. So when LK say Sun in 8th it means only that. And planet can be benefic or malefic depending on a lot of factors. Then how do we know whether a planet is benefic or malefic ? There are a few conditions led in LK to judge the subtle effect of a planet. They are roots, aspects, conjoining house(saajha ghar), combined planets(sanyukt ghar), combined house effects(like 2,6,8,12). If we analyse a little carefully we will find a simple principle working behind all the rules for beneficiance or maleficiance of planets and that is that whenever a planet is affected by its enemies due to above written conditions it becomes malefic and if it is getting affected by friends it becomes benefic. Let me give you an example. Suppose somebody has Sun + Mer in 4, Saturn + Venus in 5. Now Lets start with Sun. Sun is in 4 (house of friend) with Mercury (another friend). Due to being with friend and with friend it will acquire beneficiance. Now saturn + Venus(sun's enemies) are in 5, roots of Sun thus damaging Sun. Assuming there is no planet in 10 sun will be dormant (soya hua), etc. Here I would like to present a new thought . I propose that no planet will be negative or positive throughout. During the period of the planets which are damaging it there will be negative effects and in the periods of supporting friendly planets results should be good by the same planet. I might be wrong also in thinking like this and will request to kindly correct me if I am wrong as I try to balance the theory with daily practical life. In this way we have to take all the possible conditions into the account and try to judge the results. Finally it should be verified by asking the person various questions. 2) Upayas: Certain upayas are done once, yet others are done for 7 days or 10 days and certain ones continuously for 40-43 days. How is it decided which ones are to be done once and which ones are to be done once and which ones are done for 7/10/43 days ?3) Upayas: Upayas are suggested to be done one at a time. If a person is doing an upaya of putting copper coin in a gutter for 43 days, can he/she not visit temple during this time ? or eat in the kitchen or put a potli filled with saunf (cumin seeds) under the pillow during this time ?... as these are all seperate upayas such as - going to temple is another upaya ?4) Natal/Vashphala: What kind of things are seen from the natal chart and what kind of things are seen from the vashphala ? If a native comes for Lal kitab analysis, which types of remedies would be done first - natal remedies or varshphala remedies ? why ?Well in this regard I believe that the natal chart gives a description of all that a person is destined to have and Varshphal tells you when ? Alongwith this Varshphal gives a micro level picture of the time and events a native is destined to go through whereas Natal chart gives macro details only. Natal chart is like a painting whereas Varshphal is the colours of that painting. 5) Single/conjoined planets: If a chart has a planet in a certain house, conjoined with other planets, would the description of that planet in certain house be valid or would the description of the combination override the fact that this planet is also in a certain house ? For example, if Venus, Sun and Mercury are in 8th, would the seperate upayas for then all being individually in 8th house be valid or the upaya of Sun + Mercury + Venus override individual ones ?Here the upaya of the combination will prevail. Guest guest
Dear Jay jee, I bow my head for your efforts and Putin jee's support. I sincerely believe that this type of approach will really helpful to revel most of the secrets of this eternal wisdom with Almighty's wishes. Regarding upaya period as you have mentioned in question 2, what my opinion is, it is like the spadework needed for different types of examinations. For example preparing for IAS will be different than for state public service commission. No doubt both are to win bread but the quality (standard) of bread is different and efforts will be different. In short efforts are different to achieve 100 % success (not taking into account the quality of bread as first approximation). For example as per LK it is better to move 10H Sun to 4H by continuously throwing copper coin into a river for 43 days. (Here also I am having my views for throwing things at river, pond, keeping in temple, at cross road and donating in temple, which will be submitted at Gurus feet after this message). Because 10H belongs to Saturn and it is enemies place, Sun may be trapped here at a deeper level. Hence more effort is needed to bring it to the surface of 10H and move to 4H. In general and for our simple understanding, the level to which the planet is trapped decides the upaya days. At this juncture one may get so many doubts, which need further thinking in a different way to have a final solution. In order to give him (Jay jee) moral boost and make this discussion more vivid, I have written my views and submitting at Gurus feet. With respects to Gurus. Yours Sincerely, S.Dheenadayalan.
