You asked about the Mars placement. It is in Khana No.3 and Sun + Merc + Sat in Khana No.8.

Sir, One doubt crop in my mind that should we have to see the placement of Mars also while judging Benefic or Malefic Mars ya phir simply Sun+ Merc hua to benific and Sun + Sat hua to Mangal is Bud and if Sun+Merc+ Sat hua then Mars is benific??

Dear Nigam Sahib

 

Since the planet in question here is Mars, we can not ignore its own placement in the chart. We must first study the very base of this. Now in your case (i mean the chart you forwarded) the Mangal is posited in 3rd house which is Mars's own house. So we can say that the Mars is quite strong and benefic.The question of Sun+Sat and Sun+Mer combination and its effects comes after. Apart from Sun+Sat combo there are other situation too which makes Mars Negative, the combo of Mar+Mer and Venus in 9th are other 2 such situations. It is mentioned in the Lal Kitab that when Mars is deprived of the help of Sun or Moon it becomes Negative (Bad). So to eastablish whether Mars is Megative or positive, these points are also necessary to study.
