RESPECTED GURUJANS

AS IN THE LAST MAIL MR KHATTAR STATED THAT TOBACCO IS RELATED TO RAHU

AND IT IS OBSERVED EVEN IN REGULAR ASTRO THAT RAHU HAS A SMOKY FACE

AND THAT IS WHY FOOD SHOULD BE HAD IN KITCHEN AS RAHU DOES NOT HARM

ONCE U SIT IN ITS HOUSE(because of smoke of cooking all around)

AND WHEN ONE SMOKES ,AS THE SAME IS ALL AROUND YOU,RAHU SHOULD NOT

HARM THE NATIVE,IS IT A LOGICAL CONCLUSION OR AN UNFOUND ARGUMENT

also please explain intake of tea whether the same should be black

without sugar,or with milk & sugar would do ,and whether can be used

for removing malefic effects

PLEASE EXPLAIN

Dear Rajiv Ji

I shared a very innocent observation and it is taking a very different shape,I

would like to clarify some points :

1. Smoke ( from tobacco or from coal or from anything ) is related to Rahu

2. To have food in kitchen is good not becoz there is smoke but becoz there is

fire ( mars ).Mars controls Rahu

3.Taking black tea is no solution to remove malefic effects of Rahu .I took it

to neutrilise effects of excees intake of sweets ( mars ) .I shared this

observation so that others could also observe benefits by using such logic.

for example Rahu is enemy of venus also,so beds should be kept in bedroom

( venus ) as away as possible from attached toilets ( Rahu ).I used the word as

away as possible becoz these days we have attached toilets in most of the

houses.

(( Can this be one of the reasons of unhappy marriages these days ? Gurujans

please comment !))and In olden golden days toilets used to be outside the rooms

only.(( can this be one of the reasons of satisfactory married lives then ?

Gurujans please comment !))

Dear Fellow Lal Kitabists,

I am quite intrigued by some of the findings, and welcome more

insight into day-to-day transactional counterbalances or lifestyle

adjustments to appease or suit specific planets or their conditions.

I think it benefits us all to share such examples in light of

planetary significations.

However, in the examples cited ... black tea to remove over

sweetness affects of Mars, and the example of washrooms close to

bedrooms possible leading to marital discord, I would like to make a

few comments.

Firstly, black tea in general is a good ailment for many digestive

issues, not just for eating too much mithai. It has been used in

Africa, the Far East and Southern America to help resolve gastric

issues for many people. In England, it is still used socially (as it

was during Victorian ages) to treat headaches or lack of passing

bile.

Secondly, most homes abroad here and those I've seen in India

generally have washrooms attached to most bedrooms. There are

couples that have blissful matrimony, as well as those that don't

but by and large most people have a washroom attached to their

bedrooms. This is quite common in most homes abroad, and in many

that I've seen throughout India (Delhi, Blore, Chennai, Mumbai).

Thirdly, keeping a bed in the bedroom does not hold true for loft

apartments (open lofty ceilings and open concept design) where the

bed is in an open space with no dilineation of rooms. I know several

young successful well-to-do individuals who own such flats with

their wives and they generally are quite happy. In old times,

the " manja " (in Punjabi) was placed outdoors or in various parts of

the homes or rural estates. If we logically draw a corollary towards

saying that this would cause the problems of Rahu on Venus, then we

are saying that in old times marital discord (particularly in such

rural estates) would be high. However, we all know this is not the

case. Rahu the Elephant will shake the ground, leaving Venus' grace

and beauty on " shaky ground. " However, if in someone's horoscope,

then if they sleep in their bedroom that would suggest that the

effects of Rahu are warded off - but if this planetary aspect,

conjoined or otherwise exists in someone's horoscope, then it will

affect it anyhow ... or will it using this concept of sleeping in

only the bedroom?

I think the example of eating in the kitchen to ward off the

negative effects of Rahu is interesting, but again in most modern

homes fans and air ducts generally keep the smoke out of the

kitchen. The only time smoke comes in most homes here in Canada is

when someone has burned a chappati or has had a cooking accident!

Also, is it smoke or steam (from warm food) that we are specifically

referring to as keeping the " cloudiness of Rahu " away?

As for the example of smoking tobacco as being beneficial for Rahu,

we all know the ill health effects of smoking - except for what

executives of Tobacco companies will admit to, and hence, based on

the logic that having tobacco smoke around you is good, then tobacco

firms should solicit Rahu as their corporate ambassador.

While I fully respect the opinions and insight, and in fact welcome

them quit passionately, I think at the same time we need to ensure a

certain balance of logic and recognize universal concepts (Feng

Shui, Vastu, ergonomics) and other global treatments (black tea,

lime, pepper, water) for various health and lifestyle issues.

Iqbal

An interesting debate on smoking, eating in kitchens sleeping in bedrooms and drinking tea. although all of the points made by punjabilovebug can be understood and clear and concise there is something about consciousness in performing remedies that triggers a response that is helpful and positive. A year ago i first was blessed by stumbling accross Lal Kitab, for an english woman with little knowledge of vedic astrology but a huge fascination triggered through readings i had in india, lal kitab to me made so much sense. I was fortunate in being given remedies for certain conditions of mind that i was suffering from and found the benefits almost immediately. One particular remedy I was astounded by it's impact, the effect for me was immediate - i went from being depressed and negative with a very disturbed mind - to being calm and happy with no disturbance, recently i started to lose my balance again and checked the remedy - and water had evaporated, i replaced the water and within an hour i was back to normal. on a personal level i have found the remedies to be beyond words helpful.

with kind regards
