Revered Gurujans, I need your help / clarifications here. I refered two books Book No.1 by Shri Girddharilal sharma which states as below " En dono graho ke made asar ke vaqt ketu ke upay se rahu ka bura asar door hooga, agar ketu bhi manda ho ( Ladka nalayak ho ) to Chandra ki upasana ya Mata ki marfat Chandra ka upaya madadgar hooga, Joon ( Barley) doodh se dhoone ke bad dariya mein ( flowing water) dalne se rahu ki syahi ko dho dega ya ketu ke rang ke nang ki anguthi ko shukra gay ke joothe pani se rooj dhone se saadhu ki samadhi khulegi, magar samadhi khulte hi mangal ki chijoon ka daan kalyan hoga varna saddhu uth kar takiya khal chod chala jayega aur phir dhuadhar jamana hooga. magar aab kadve kuain ki jagah sardiyo ki kahar thand ka dhuan hooga. Magar safed din na hooga. Esiliye Mangal ki chijoon ko hajir rakhne ka khayal jaroori hooga. " 2nd book I refer is by Shri Goswami and Vashisth which states " Treatment of ketu will help. Wear gold on body. If ketu is also bad, take help of moon. Wash your ring of cat's eye everyday with water used by cow. Thereafter, donate articles of Mars. Or else keep with self some barley, wheat washed in water and throw some in flowing water for 43 days. " Both the books seem to be taking the same lines, as per my understanding Barley is taken to be guru which when washed with milk (chandra) or water ???(Question no. 1) for 43 days ???( Question no.2) and then to be put in flowing water, would wash off the evil effects of rahu and as a result Sadhu (Guru which is dormant in company of Rahu) will awaken, but in order to retain the effects of Guru, things associated with Mangal to be kept handy and are to be donated. (Question no. 3.) How does it justify keeping some barley with self after throwing some ???. It is out of my quest to know the correct remedy, that I have put above 3 questions and it is my most humble request if Gurujans could clarify my doubts.
