Exaltation means that through-out the zodiacal belt, there is a certain area at which, the electromagnetic field of the stars constituting that rashi/herehouse so complement a certain planet's position at that point that its effects on the terrestrial level are most pronounced. Exactly 180° from this point lies another point, that of the debilitation. Debilitation means a state that is a liability. A state of weakness of a planet at a certain degree in a certain sign/here house. Permanent house of planets is a concept of NATURAL SIGNIFICATORS OF HOUSES. The natural Significator of a house is designated as having a pakka ghar in that house. Ownership- the planet that is owner of the sign corresponding to that house is termed as owner of that house. Rashiphal- The planet whose result in a house is doubtful is termed as planet of rashiphal in that house .i.e when the planet is posited in a house where it is not exalted or debilitated; not in a pakka ghar i.e. is not a natural Significator or is associated with a planet with which it has exchanged houses. Grahphal-The planet whose results are fixed and cannot be altered. I.e. the planet is in a house of exaltation or debilitation or in its ownership house. Guest guest
Kulbir Ji: Let us take House No 1 - based on what I learnt from your previous lesson I would conclude: a) Sun in #1 is of grahphal being both exalted as well as has the fixed house b) Saturn in #1 is of grahphal being debilitated c) Mars in #1 is of grahphal being the owner d) For argument sake let's assume no exchange relationships exist for other planets that may be placed in #1 Then any planet in #1 (other than Sun, Saturn and Mars)should be of rashiphal. Is this logic correct? If it is, then why for house #1 does your table show that only Mars is of grahphal and only Rahu is of rashiphal? I guess the similar questions will apply across all houses Regards Vijay Arora lalkitab , " Kulbir Singh Bains " <ceetabains> wrote: > > House Owner Exalted Debilitated Fixedhouse Grahphal Rashiphal > 1 Mars Sun Saturn Sun Mars Rahu > 2 Venus Moon None Jupiter Rahu-Ketu None > 3 Mercury Rahu Ketu Mars Saturn Saturn (wealth) > 4 Moon Jupiter Mars Moon Moon Mars/Venus/Ketu > 5 Sun None None Jupiter Jupiter/Sun None > 6 Mercury Mer/Ra Ven/Ketu Ketu Mer/Ketu Su/Ju//Ma/Ke > 7 Venus Saturn Sun Ven/Mer Venus Su/Ju/Rahu > 8 Mars None Moon Mars/Saturn Mars None > 9 Jupiter Ketu Rahu Jupiter Jupiter Saturn > 10 Saturn Mars Jupiter Saturn Saturn Mer/Ketu > 11 Saturn None None Jupiter Jupiter/Saturn None > 12 Jup/Rahu Ven/Ketu Mer/Rahu Rahu Rahu Mercury. > > > Exaltation means that through-out the zodiacal belt, there is a > certain area at which, the electromagnetic field of the stars > constituting that rashi/herehouse so complement a certain planet's > position at that point that its effects on the terrestrial level are > most pronounced.
