Guest guest
Following is the rules one should follow in any forum. I really liked this work of Sh. Tanveer. These rules should adopted in Lalkitab forum also. All esteemed > Dear esteemed member of Lalkitab forum, > > This file contains important information about the rules and regulations one should follow while posting to the forum and/or participating in discussions. Please take a while to read this. > Lalkitab wishes and wants that the members of this forum promotes mutual respect and harmony while participating in discussion. Because when you go beyond your own limit, you trouble another one's rights. That is why it has been said that law is what ensures everyone's rights. > > The administration of Lalkitab works to maintain each member's rights. In order to do so Lalkitab administration suggests that one should follow the guidelines given below. Violating these might cause moderation, denial of the right to post, removal of membership, or even banning of the member with or without a warning. > > 1) Do not make yourself sound 'The Best' either in astrology or in any other specific area. This is not appreciated and annoying to the members. Because if you claim that you are the best, then it implies that others are inferior to you, which one generally would not appreciate to know/remember. > > 2) Avoid the idea to label your ideas and techniques as flawless or ultimate. In a technical argument, your approach should convey that your idea is your idea only, and may be wrong as well. This would not create a personal enmity. However, JR encourages that you engage in healthy debates and not be afraid of arguments supported by logic and kept within the area of respect and courtesy. But, never be disrespectful to others. > > 3) Do not be disrespectful to anyone with foul, vulgar, offensive or disrespectful messages. Do not pinch or try to disrespect anyone questioning his or her nationality, religion, sex, race, caste, age, educational background, qualification etc. > > 4) Do not post materials written by others. If you do so, acknowledge it. > > 5) Do not cross post. Do not post the same message to many lists that the reply to the message of another forum appears at JR. However, you can refer to any forum and forward a message from another one when appropriate. But be sure to acknowledge it. > > 6) Do not blame the members when they do not respond to your request for free help. This would strictly ban you. We created this forum to share knowledge and learn, not to offer a charity of astrological reading. If anyone offers you a free help with your chart, it is his kindness and be grateful for that. But in no way think that you are entitled to get this for sure. It is just a bonus only. > > 7) Do not repeat the post for free help over and over frequently. This is very much annoying. If you do not get a reply for free help, it means no one is interested or have the time; and do accept it. If you are so serious about your horoscope, consult an astrologer than bothering us, and do pay him for the service he renders. > > 8) While giving predictions, avoid an approach like, " You are going to die in such such period " or, " Your marriage will fail in such such period " or " You will be pennyless in such such period " etc. It is not appreciated to announce a serious negative prediction right away. You can say that there is a possibility of a serious problem in such such areas. > > 9) Do not advertise a website, be it astrological or anything. However, you may announce an astrological website, or an astrologer, or an astrological book, product or service. But, do not make it sound like an advertising, and avoid the approach of, " He is the best astrologer! " or " This remedy/yantra/yajna will solve all your problems! " . Announcing a same website over and over is prohibited. However, you may announce an update of a website. You may add your web address, home address, telephone no. in your signature in short. > > 10) Do not post non astrological posts. The area might be extended to Hinduism, spirituality, Yoga, Vastu etc. sometimes. However, in a serious case, you may suggest something non-astrological. Such as, suggesting a doctor, a medicine, a herb etc. in case of a serious health concern. > > 11) Getting humourous is good. But only for a while. Let us stick to astrology as our only concern. > > 12) By providing a birth data, personal or any other information, you indicate that you offer us the full right to use the data for our studies, research work, or even a publication without any further permission from you. The data, comments and feedback become a public property when you submit it here in public. > > Finally, we look forward to your active participation and sharing of knowledge. > > Thanks for being one of us. members of Lalkitab forum.
