Magar, jo log urdu se wabasta nahin, unhain hum kyon pareshan Karen aur shaayad majboor bhi kar dein is forum ko chordne ke liye. It is the reality of our times that all of us have come to know each other through the internet (karak – Mercury?) and lingua franca of internet is English. Some are masters are at it, some are not. But, we are here together either for love of LK or with the hope that the remedies of LK will serve our purpose. But English and Internet together are responsible for the growing body of LK lovers and seekers. This is the modern day equivalent of the fast flowing mythical river of knowledge Saraswati. I agree with Yograj bhai about enjoyment and understanding of any knowledge in its language. It is the ultimate. However, as I see it, we Indians are blessed by born in India as we are compelled to learn minimum of 2 or 3 languages and get familiar with atleast 2 more depending upon the parts of country from wherever the individual hails from. This gives us an excellent platform to learn and assimilate other thoughts expressed in other languages through excellent translations. As an example (and there are infinite) Lao “Tse’s Tao The Ching”, a book in Chinese and excellently translated in English by Jane English is a point. Lao Tse is practically unknown in History (he and Confucious were contemporaries) but his vision and its expression is equal to the level of Upanishad or Geeta and from there on goes beyond. Yograj bhai, the puritan lover of Lal Kitab, please be our leading light as aptly requested by Lal Kitabee and help non-urdu persons to easily embrace the tenets of Lal Kitab. What can be done? Many translations have been done. Pt. Laxmi Kant Vashisht books are there. So translation work of a good to high level has been fairly achieved. What is missing are the case studies.
