Respected gurujan,

The Daylight Saving Time was also introduced in India from Sept

1 ,1942 till Oct 14, 1945. During this time the Indian Standard time

was advanced all over India { including present day Pakistan and

Bangladesh} by ONE HOUR for war purposes of day light saving.

Therefore any recorded time of this period be reduced by one hour to

obtain Indian Standard Time.

Uniform Indian Standard Time for the entire country was introduced

on September 1 ,1947.

with regards and naman to all gurujan,

bhuwan
