DIRECTIONS OF HOUSE

Dear Respected Fellow Members,

In many cases according to Lal Kitab the direction in which the

front door of our residence faces is mentioned depending on

planetary placements.

For instance, I have Saturn in 3rd house and thus, a south facing

door would be inauspicious and further, if a stone was placed

alongside it it could bring death to 3 people known to me (Ashant:

Lal Kitab Astrology, 2002).

My question refers to those of us who have to travel heavily for

work/career and may be staying in hotels mondays-fridays and

returning home on weekends. What impact does this have on the

overall scheme of things? Sometimes, such stays away from home for

work in a foreign land can last several weeks if not months.

Granted, one returns home weekly, but one is spending the majority

of time in these temporary homes (hotels). Here are my specific

questions:

1. Does this lifestyle impact a person, or is the home of the family

taken into consideration for the direction it faces.

2. Which home does this impact? Only the home the native lives in,

or the ancestral home back in India also? What if the native was

born abroad - will the ancestral home in India still have influence?

3. If staying for long period of times in hotels does have an impact

on one's horoscope/planetary influences, then does one take into

consideration the direction that one's room faces, or the entrance

to the hotel?

These questions may seem odd to some, but it is the reality which

many of us professionals in North America face as part of our work

and corporate responsibilities that we must travel each week to far

cities.

Any input would be appreciated!

Regards,

Iqbal
