I believe my old friend Kulbir ji will not feel offended. Tarsem Ji, There is a basic difference in Lalkitab Varshaphal and the Vedic system of Varshaphal. Tajik Nilkanthi depends upon the position of sun after each year. According to Lalkitab, it is according to the tables devised by Pt.Roop Chand Joshi. Yeh abhi tak raaz hi hai ki is system ke peechhe basic padhiti kaun si hai. ? Umesh " Mudit " told me an interesting thing about Tajik Nilkanthi and Varshaphal. I would like to share it with group members. If you observe Tajik Nilkanthi, Tajik is an Urdu word but the book contains Shalokas of Sanskrit. Umesh ji warned to disclose this fact only to Patras but I consider all the forum members worthy. One of the nine jewels of Akbar, Khan-e- Khana Abu Fazal (I don't remember the exact name) was blessed with a son. Pundits caste and predicted his horoscope to be blessed with 80 years age but as fate would have it, the child expired after 8 days. He was so infuriated that he collected all the books on Jyotish and burned there pyre at a Chaurasta. He was a scholar par excellence. He was a pundit himself and a Jyotishi also. Akbar in order to save him from depression sent him to Misr (Egypt) to study Astrology. There he (Abu Fazal) sent the horoscope of his son to an Astrology school. The masters there send it (the horoscope) to their junior most pupils. They drew the chart, and one by one all of them predicted the death at the age of 8 (days). Abu Fazal asked them to teach this method. They agreed, but on the condition that he should marry a Muslim girl and change his religion. Under the peculiar state he embraced Mohammedan religion and leant that method. THAT METHOD WAS THE METHOD OF VARSHAPHAL And he was the one to bring this method to India. Another interesting fact is that Shri Ramchandra's Banvas happened on the day mahurat selected for his coronation because the scholars that time didn't caste the Varshaphal. So the unique system of Lalkitab was dictated to Pt.Joshi by medium of hazrat in continuation of the tradition followed by some ancient system, now lost. Just take any Kundli cast it as per LK Varshaphal and also as per Vedic and see the difference manifest in predictions. “Hath Kangan Ko Aarsi Kya”.
