The translation by G & V refers to Planet Effect and Sign Effect and

Pt Ashant refers to Grah Phal & Rashi Phal.

 

IF the two are the SAME then the following is my understanding.

 

Pt Ashant ,if I am not mistaken in my understanding, says Planets

having Planet Effect/Grah Phal in certain houses can NOT be remedied

by their own remedies but help has to be sought from other planets,

whereas those having sign Effect/Rashi Phal can be remedied using

their own remedies. The practical implications of this I am still

trying to comprehend.----->I COULD WELL BE WRONG HERE.
