you are absolutely right but let me add a little.

According to lal kitab jyotish comes under the purview of saturn( the

Snake,Nag). you pray a snake only when it is in his realm in his

jungle, once a snake is picked up by a charmer and he( publicises )

roams it in the streets, begging you don't pray to it but have pity.

moreover shani is the planet of justice, the past authority to weigh

your karma, if you give upayas to someone with your half baked

knowledge and extract money from the poor fellow. rest assured you

will fail as a jyotishi and be prepared for the suffering unleashed by

saturn.

 

saturn is appeased by charity, ditribute your knowledge with a

missionary zeal an many times of what you impart will boune back to you
