Jagmeet Jee and Friends,

People used to keep the after-birth of cat even before LalKitab was published (just like the horse shoe.) But at the same time, certain planetary combinations (and I can't recall which ones) go malefic if you keep this in a red cloth (per LalKitab.)

Pt Som Dutt Jee just doesn't prescribe this anymore (not because the upaya is wrong.) Donating the Sun related items is as substitution and has a similar benefic effect i.e., donation of wheat grain (gehoon) jaggery and copper (LalKitab 1953 ed.)

The other things mentioned by Sweety Singh Jee are just like the horse shoe - perhaps myths.
