It is part of another shastra so I guess it is not right place to ask this question. All these articles must be get 'siddha' by some expert person of the field only after that those can be useful. Just purchasing them from market will not going to work at all. It is not only applicable on them but all yantras, rudrashas, and naals etc.

 

But I can not say those are myths.
