Dear Sindhu ji,

[ 1 ] Doing one upaya at a time is suggested firstly , so that the

two upaya don't clash , secondly , two upaya done at the same time

will form a third upaya which might be harmful.

[ 2 ] There is no alternative to offering chawal at a temple, however

you could offer it at any dharm-sthan , a church or a mosque.

[ 3 ] If you haven't already started giving arghya to the sun you

could do it. Otherwise wait till the sun upaya is over.

sincerely,

upadhyay

Dear sir,

I am greatful to you for your prompt help. Thank you very much.

Can I offer rice to some beggar or it has to be a religious place? The reason i am askinfg this is because the temple is very far from my house, and I will not be able to reach there, due to work place constraints.upadhyay_iitd <upadhyay_iitd wrote:

Dear Sindhu ji,
