querying Prashna Kundali

Dear Punit ji,

I am afraid no. There is no mention of 'prashna kundali' in the Lal

Kitab , neither on the lines of traditional astrology nor for that

purpose either. However there is a method given to work out kundali's

for the hour / minutes and seconds at the end of Farman 13 in the

1952 Urdu edition on page 222 , page 215 of the Sagar publication

translation and page 68 of Arun Sanhita translation.

Unlike the traditional astrology 'prashna kundali' which is based on

the time the question is put to the astrologer , the Lal Kitab

hour/minute/second kundali is based on the Varsh Phal and is not

meant to answer a question but instead to find out what's in store

for the native.

Even the method of casting these kundalis is different where the

planets are to be moved in the Varsh-phal , according to the time

division you want. Some students of Lal Kitab have mistaken these to

mean 'prashna kundalis'. Well thats not so.

However , It might be a good try to experiment that the 'prashna

kundali' is drawn on the principles of vedic astrology and the upaya

suggested are from the Lal Kitab. I haven't tried it myself, but

would love to do so sometime.

sincerely,

upadhyay

classical astrology i.e. cast a horoscope of the time of query as per

Lal Kitab and judge according to the principles of Lal Kitab. But I

have never tried it. As there is not written much about it in Lal

Kitab itself, I have very little understanding on this topic. I hope

that someone will research into it. Other expert Lalkitabist can

answer this question better.
