Dear KK,

There are always two 'grah' involved in a pitri-rin . As I can see

in your case it is Jupiter and Ketu. Therefore the upaya for these

two planets has to be done. The upaya will have to be done once a

week for 43 weeks {thats laid down in the Lal Kitab} continuously .

Since it is a very long period of time , there could be a possibility

when you may not be able to do the upaya for that week. Under such

circumstances you should keep a few grains of rice { chawal } washed

in milk ; ie if you have done the upaya for ,lets say, five weeks and

you have to go out for a few weeks where you possibly can't do the

upaya , in that case keep those rice at home. When you come back you

could start the upaya again , counted as the sixth week upaya. The

break in between will not be considered as break and the upaya would

still be considered as continuous.

The second thing is that the upaya is to be done during the day

time ie after the sun rise and before the sun set.

Thirdly , the upaya can be done by either you or by your son.

For each planet Two upaya are mentioned. You could do either of

those two upaya.

UPAYA for JUPITER:

[ a ] 'khandan ke her ek shakhsh , jahan tak khoon ka taluk ho,ke

hisse ka ek-ek rupia lekar ek din mandir mein charave , upaya ki had

tak' ... offer at any temple on one day of the week, a rupee each in

the name of all the khandan members for 43 weeks. It is always

advisable to add a few rupees extra for 'bhule-bisare'.

OR

[ b ] If there is a temple or a peepal tree within 16 steps ,either

in front of the house or on the left of the house , you could do

its 'sewa'

After 43 weeks when you have done this upaya for Jupiter, you have to

start the upaya for Ketu. The two upaya can not be done together.

UPAYA for KETU

[ a ] Feed the dogs once a week for 43 weeks. Feed as many dogs as

you can.

OR

[ b ] If there is any poor widow close to your house , do her 'sewa'

meaning taking care of her and get her blessings . This too will have

to be done for 43 weeks.

I hope these upaya help you get rid of the curse of 'pitri-rin'

sincerely,

upadhyay

graduation. So evidently this does not apply to the girls in the

family, as per the Lal Kitab, they arent even considered aulad.

Dear Upadhay ji, Bhatiaji and all other members

Thank you very much for your email. We will begin the upaya's as soon as possible. But will this help in the current situation ?? Also, is it not possible to determine from a horoscope whether a person will have male children or not. I believe that in my son's case, Sun & Mercury together in 11th house would not allow him to have male children if he eats meat (shani ki khurak), which he does, rather a lot in fact. If that is the case, then perhaps our fears of his having a son and consequently any bad effects on him,may be totally unfounded ?

Please advise.

Thanking you in advance.

Friends,

My sincerest apologies for delayed response.

Very humbly, I'd like to express my opinion in regard to Pitri Rin. The Pitri Rin should be based not just on one horoscope but other horoscopes in the family should be considered also. For example, Mrs. KK's daughter's horoscope as well as her own (if available) should be considered before a judgement is made. Unfortunately, LalKitab does not state explicitly that the whole family's horoscope should be considered although the remedial measures do require the whole family's participation. Upadhayay Jee, you have done the best under the circumstances and hats off to you for responding so very quickly to most of the queries. But I'd like to share what I know in this regard. In no way do I mean to undermine your selfless services. After all the purpose of this forum is to share our knowledge.

Regarding Sun in the eleventh, "shani kee khuraak" i.e., Meat eating and use of liqour will most likely affect the offspring quite adversely - I have seen this to be magically true.

Not only one has to become a total vegetarian but also there are a couple of remedial measures that have to be performed.

Respectfully,

Rajinder Bhatiak k <kkdelhi2003 wrote:
