Guest guest
Dear Tripathy ji , It is a matter of great honour for me that a scholar of your repute has shown interest in my upaya prescription . The upaya you are talking about , keeping at home some thing that has normally been gifted at the temple , sounded strange to me also . This upaya is for the Sun , the lagna lord , in the 6th house . The logic is : ' 6th house is considered the ' pataal ka ghar ' , and the qualities that the Sun stands for get hidden here . In order to reveal these qualities we have to take the help of Jupiter , not only a friend of the Sun , but a planet which represents divine goodness too . Jupiter is the karak of dharma-sthan . Therefore it is believed that a thing belonging to the temple is a blessed Jupiter , and any thing normally offered at the temple is what belongs to it. Therefore keeping it in the house means that the blessed Jupiter has been established [ sthapit ]which will help the Sun to reveal its qualities . ' sincerely, upadhyay
