Dear Tripathy ji ,

The system to carry back home a part of what you had offered at the

temple is a very common practice . Don't you get back a part of your

prasaad that you had offered at the temple ? This prasaad is then

considered as blessed by the deity . The same logic is applied when

the remedy says ' offer this thing at the temple and carry back home

a part of it ' again assuming that what you had offered has been

blessed by the deity and you are carrying home the blessed part. This

is very shashtra- sammat [ approved by the shashtra ]

sincerely,

upadhyay
