Guest guest
Mercury in the first house : I am summarizing here the conditions under which mercury in the first House becomes ' manda '. In the Lal Kitab , I believe , this word ' manda' is used in the relative sense . Probably , it does not mean entirely malefic. In our common parlance this word means ' below expectation ' ... sona manda hai chandi mehgi hai ... aaj bazar manda raha etc. I may be wrong , but this is how I interpret the word ' manda'. These are the conditions under which Mercury in the first house will be ' manda ' . To verify whether it is really so a few questions could be asked based on : getting staircase repaired ; or storing unused percussion instruments like tabla etc is one of the ' nishani ' of manda mercury. [ a ] If it is a ' soya hua graha ' ... ie if there is no planet in the seventh house the results of merc will be manda for everything else except for profession. If Saturn or Venus be there effects of Mercury are enhanced . [ b ] If mercury joins ketu or is aspected by it , while mercury becomes manda ; the results of ketu [ son etc ] are entirely spoiled. [ c ] If mercury joins Mars or is aspected by it , the results of mercury are spoiled , becomes manda. [ d ] If mercury is with jupiter or is aspected by it , the result of mercury will be slightly manda where as the result of jupiter will be lost EXCEPT in the houses 2 and 4 . [ e ] If mercury is opposite venus ( seventh ) outside the kendra bhav ( 1,4,7,10 ) mercury becomes manda EXCEPT when mercury is in the 6th and venus in the 12th. Now regarding the colour of the skin : " rang kala ho gar uska , pani mein patthar tirta ho " ... 1952 ed Here the colour kala is not in the absolute sense , it is in the comparative sense ; it means the skin colour being darker than the average colour in that society or the racial group . ' pani mein patthar tirta ho ' would achieve even the impossible with the help of God .. it has an association with a kind of miracle ...stone floating over water is possible only through heavenly intervention. upadhyay
