Dear list member,

Lalkitab Workbook is just now uploaded in the files section.

Worksheet is in the crude form. Hope it will be useful.

It has two sheets. Sheet one is for a particular year and Sheet two

is for the entire 120 years.

Only cells which are in yellow color are to be entred.

Please verify the calculations as I have just started learning

Lalkitab and also let me know whether it is useful.

With warm regards

Muruli. S

Murliji and Pandey ji,

Wonderful job on the Varshphal Worksheet. Hats off and a collective

thanks from all of us. I already have the malefic/benefic table done

but I am trying to add some verbage to it. Possibly, by the end of

the day, I may have it.

Hi Group,

I am a new member to this group and keenly follow the posts.

Hats off to Muruli for creating the masterpiece. I am trying to add the comments of malefic/benefic plannets as indicated by Mr. Bhatia.

Pardon my ignorance, but is there anyway to automate the Natal Chart (Birth Chart) on basis of date and time so that even the same could be automated. Any inputs would be appreciated.

Hi,

Enclosed is the worksheet with the Malefic/Benefic planets as indicated by Mr. Bhatia.

I acknowledge the effort of Mr. Muruli and Mr. Sharath Kumar Gajare whose worksheets were used to prepare the enclosed one and Mr. Bhatia's email on the Malefic / Benefic planets. Do let me know if this is correct or the amendments that need to be made.

Murali ji, Pankaj ji,

Outstanding job!! I did this many years ago first in Fortran and Cobol on a mainframe and then in an older version of Oracle on a PC but unfortunately none of those was portable. I never thought about Excel (and I know next to nothing about it.)

Will it be too much to color code the planets (in the charts) such that a malefic shows up red and a benefic shows up as black or green ? The list you display, already does that but can the same be extended to the charts also?

I am being like my typical customers who like a report or a form but then they start asking for more and more enhancements. Bless them, it is because of those add-ons that I can afford to extend a six month contract to two years.

Thanks again and God bless you.

Best regards.

Dear Pankaj Ji,

That was real quick. Can I make another suggestion?

Instead of having separate tables for benefic/ malefic,we can have red/green color codes for planets in first table itself and also in the chart as suggested by Rajinder Ji.

With this freed up space,We can have space for another pair of charts which can be used for the spouse. On one sheet we will have the couples charts so that with one look we will know which are really good/bad planets for the couple natally and for a particular year.

we can have it in following format

But past the age of 34 (thirty-four) this remedial measure should NOT be performed. It is stated in an obscure footnote in LalKitab. Additionally, Mercury in the ninth may not always be bad; see details in the description of Mercury.'

May be we can have Mer in orange color in these two houses or we can have a question mark in front of Mercury in these two houses.

May be we can automate calculation of age by putting the date of birth and for the required year.EX.DOB:1:20:1980 VARSHAPHAL REQUIRED FOR 1999.

Jasmeet ji,

I like our (yours and mine) style. In "sharaafat' Murali ji and Pankaj ji have volunteered to do this Worksheet and we, like typical users (and we are not even paying them), are continuously broadening the scope. Yes, it will be a great idea for the system to calculate the last birthday in relation to the current (today's) date. The current method should also be retained, so that Varshphal can be calculated for any other year. That can be a great research tool where one may want to verify the incidents of the years past.

Incidentally, I should not be thanked for providing the benefic-malefic table; it was directly lifted from LalKitab; required no thinking or hard work.

Please refer to following by Rajinder Ji,

'Mercury in the eleventh house is considered a malefic and a remedial measure has been suggested in the form of putting a copper coin with a hole in it, around one's neck.

With regards,

Jagmeet
