Guest guest
Dear Mr. Bhatia & Friends, Thanks for posting question paper on Lal Kitab and comments on it. It is really useful for a learning student like me. One more thing I want to tell that even there is not continuous posting and discussion in this group, I go through each and every mail very carefully and these discussions are helping me a lot (I think other Lal Kitab students will also be getting some benefit, at least to some extent). I have lots lots lots of questions and confusions regarding Lal Kitab and I can write a complete book on these confusion . I had gone through the study of Alp's horoscope and it was very useful to understand basics of Lal Kitab. I REQUEST YOU & ALL OTHER MEMBERS TO KEEP POSTING SOME CASE STUDIES LIKE THAT. Those are very-very useful for learning. IF YOU HAVE SOME OLD CASE STUDIES, I REQUEST YOU TO POST. Otherwise please give analysis of horoscopes from this group. Anyway, I have gone through your comments on the paper. I have a few confusions regarding that - 1. Even I used to think that the dasa cycle starts from Saturn. Although in Lal Kitab first planet is given as Jupiter but the dasa is shown started from year 16. So we can assume (?) that the dasa of saturn starts at the time of birth. I am also confused how to calculate mahadasa planet. Please throw light on it. I think Mr. Ashant in his book mentioned the same, as far as I able to understand. 2. If some planet getting conjunction of other planet but not opposition, still it is Soya (sleeping) or not? [in traditional astrology, conjunction as well as oppositions both are aspects] Now what I going to ask is very-very important for learning. In fact I was thinking to ask this since quite a long time. In Lal Kitab, the author has mentioned the result of planet in different khana and other planet's position related to that. But the logic behind that has not been given (or probably not clear to me). If we can understand the logic/reason, Lal Kitab System would be a lot easier to understand. Although as it has been said that read it like a novel, and reading again and again we can reach closer to the logic but I think help from someone learned like you will really help in understanding basics of Lal Kitab. I am giving a sample (Sun in 7th) please try to elaborate it. 1. Sun in 7th - bad for " Sasural's " Business, Why? Why for " Sasural " ? 2. Sun in 7th & Me, Ju or Ve in 2, 3 or 5 - Native will die at his homeland. Why Me, Ju and Ve and what they have to do with 2, 3 and 5? Is anyway 2, 3, and 5 related to homeland? or Me, Ju and Ve anyway related to homeland? I am always confused with these types of statements. Why only Me, Ju and Ve has been choosen? and only 2nd, 3rd and 5th khana has been choosen? 3. Sun in 7th, & Sa, Me, Ke in 2nd - not good for wife's luck etc. Again Sa, Me, Ke and 2nd is in what way related to Wife's luck? 4. But if (Sun in 7th and) Ju, Mo, & Ma in 2nd - fame. Relation between 2, Ju, Mo (ok, it is exalted here) & Ma? 5. Me exalted or Me with Ma in 7th - Native will not be able to utilized his mind fully. ????? Yes, Me and Ma are enemies but Me and Sun are friends and Ma and Su are friends too. Also why this bad thing happens if Me is exalted? 6. Sun manda. Problem will start after his birthday (Why birthday?) and it will affect bua and fufi (Why Bua and Fufi, Me is karaka for Bua, Fufi etc. not Su?). also dumb and mad child. (Ke is for child, yes sun is lord of 5th house, the house of clild?) 7. Sun manda, not good for Ve. (Probably due to debilitation of Su in Ve's house i.e. in 7th) 8. Sun in 7th & Ju, Ve or Natural Malefic in 1st and also Me manda - lots of death in family???? 9. above and Me in 9th - even worse than above (?). 10. Su without the help of Me - poverty at younger age. (Me is not friend of Su than why the help of Me is needed in 7th) 11. If Su is sleeping in natal horoscope, the native will start getting results only after planet in 8th will reach to kahana no. 2 in varshaphal. Why? What is correlation between 8th and 2nd? What is logic behind this? As above statements clearly suggests that I don't know much about Lal Kitab neither I understand it deeply. I AM UNABLE TO RELATE LAL KITAB VYAKARANA WITH THESE STATEMENTS. But I will be highly thankful if you comment on this and help me relating vyakarana with these statements. I request all Lal Kitabists to come forward. It can constitute Lal Kitab FAQs that can be useful for all present and future Lal Kitab students. Eagerly waiting for response from Mr. Bhatia and other learned Lal Kitabist in this group. Guest guest
Friends, Thanks to Punitji for his letter. I will, in due course, try to discuss each point raised by him. However, I must say that we don't know the reasons why these particular combinations with Sun in the seventh (or any other planet in any house) do what they do. That is really a matter of research. LalKitab method hasn't specified reasons or rationale behind the upayas or phalaadesh. And wherever it is described, it is very terse and brief. I feel that one has to have intuition or extra- ordinary facility to understand the rationale. I have neither so I take what is written in it and go from there. My personal theory is not to worry much about the rationale but how best to apply what is written in it. I don't urge others to be like me. By all means, go ahead and figure out the "whys" and the "buts" and the "ifs" and fill the rest of us in. Discussing cases, is a nice idea. I keep getting horoscopes from time to time and I will be glad to post these here. Incidentally, the loss of Challenger is very tragic. We are all indeed saddened by it. Seven top notch brave scientists have lost their lives. I am sure somewhere, one of these days, they will discuss Dr. Kalpana Chawla's horoscope. If someone can post her birth data, it would be worth a look. Guest guest
Dear Friends, At this point,I would like to say that discussions are really getting interesting and we are indeed learning things (although its slighlty confusing as to logic behind the things written in Lal Kitab but still its getting into head).I agree with Mr Punit that we should indulge into more case studies so that we can learn more about the logic behind the things. At this juncture I would like to re-request reading of horroscope of my brother. His date of birth is :- 26th April 1983 Time :- 8.20 am (morning) Place :- New Delhi I wanted to know how can we judge from one's horroscope one's higher study prospects and what occuputation one will have ? How much one will study (higher studies) ?On what basis to suggest some upayas and how much time does it one take for upayas to show some benefit ? All I know is that mercury (Budd) and jupiter (brahaspati) determines one's education. So that means that one who is good in studies should be having good (exalted) jupiter and mercury. But I do think that there are some other things alse I affecting this. I have also studied that persons with delibered (asta) shani have diffculties in settling and choice of occupation. Is that so ? How much does one's asdendent rasi makes difference in one's chart ?I mean how much is actual rasi and asdendent rasi come into effect ? Please study this horroscope with respect to this questions and asnwer and also tell the reasoning behind them. Thanking you in advance Sonu Punit Pandey <pandeypunit wrote: Dear Mr. Bhatia & Friends,Thanks for posting question paper on Lal Kitab andcomments on it. Guest guest
49,U.E-2 Hisar-125005 India February 3, 2003 In reply to: Your Email Dear Sir/Madam, [Dear Friend Before telling you about the remedies of lal Kitab (Red Book), you should know what exactly is a lal kitab and how it works. Lal Kitab is a mystery in itself. It is written in ancient Urdu without the element of punctuation and sounds Greek to a layman. Poetical verses interpolated with philosophy and hidden nuances of destiny form the core 'principles' of the book. The authorship is unknown. It is said that the solutions & remedies given by Lal Kitab are infallible. Some of them may look pretty weird especially in these modern times, but that is the way our religion is, inexplicable, occult yet overawing just by sheer magnitude of its diversity. That it has rightly been termed as" The Wonder Book" of Astrology. The science of palmistry too has been explained in such an exquisite manner that each of the 42 divisions of the human brain have been related to the different houses of a man's birth chart in such a scientific manner that the sketch of the human brain reflects accurately on the lines of the palm. On the basis of these lines of the palm one can draw the actual horoscope of an individual and can do the placement of planets in various houses of the birth chart. The date of birth and the birth ascendant can be found out by reading the lines and mounts of the palm, which means that an individual's accurate birth chart can be drawn by seeing the lines of his palm. Similarly, by studying the different aspects of a man's residential house his birth chart can be accurately prepared on the basis of the sutras explained in the Lal Kitab. In addition to the above, Lal Kitab has announced unique remedial measures to solve chronic and critical human problems in day-to-day life. These measures do not require the practice of ordeals, yagnas, havans and other complicated and expensive rituals, which prove more troublesome for persons who are already in trouble because of the evil effects of certain planets? These measures are again different from Yantras, Mantras and Tantras, which give various adverse effects if not followed rigorously in all their minute details. The measures suggested in Lal Kitab are electrically effective in solving all kinds of human troubles and tensions, without inflicting harm on anybody i.e. these remedies are completely self-defensive against the evils created by the planets without causing injury in anyway to anyone concerned. The first part of this great treatise contains the principles and Sutras for interpretation of horoscope, termed as "Vyakaran". The birth chart of an individual is prepared like the traditional Parashar principles, but the only important difference is that the Rashis are not considered or taken into account for predictive astrology and, therefore, the digits indicating the Rashis in a traditional birth chart are scrapped. Secondly, for predictive purposes the ascendant is treated as the first house and it is regarded as the house of the first Rashi, i.e., Aries and counting progressively in a sequence up to the 12th house being that of Pisces. The remedies are in general should be followed by all to avoid malefic results of stars or planet. The best part is that if you do not attain any benefit from the remedies then nothing contains harmful in it. Way back in December I received a few emails regarding sender’s personal problems and for their remedies too. In fact I am a surfer of Internet but have problem in typing and due to this reason seldom reply email of my brothers and daughters who live abroad. Those who are serious can mail me same user name on hotmail or contact me before and after Banking hours on 911662247398.Destination of this # is 100 miles far from Delhi. There is no surety of reply to all by me as I am full time Bank employee and have other family liabilities too. In general it takes me more than two hours to ascertain the right behavior of the planets of a horoscope (still chances of wrong calculation as I always need the presence of the person of whom horoscope is being viewed). So please excuse me if there is no result after remedy/remedies. Further I have (in my opinion) very authentic book of lalkitab which is of 600 pages and in the form of cyclostyle. It is in Hindi & on the first page it shows that it was translated in 1952 probably from Urdu. In I receive response from you people I can courier at reasonable cost which will not exceed Rs.500/=. Guest guest
Friends, Although I am short of time but let me just clarify these confusions being caused by some folks. I have seen this material on the internet (and I am sure most of you have seen this also.) Let me clarify something before I proceed on. By no means this criticism is directed towards Mr Raj Bhatnagar - it is directed towards people who have been perpetuating false information. I have a fairly good idea as to who these people might be and they know who they are. I also know that this is not Mr Raj Bhatnagar. Let me take some of these points one by one and put them in the right perspective: lalkitab , Raj Bhargava <rajkb1947> wrote: February 3, 2003 In reply to: Your Email Dear Sir/Madam, Dear Friend ======= " Before telling you about the remedies of lal Kitab (Red Book), you should know what exactly is a lal kitab and how it works. In fact, there is no such language as " ancient Urdu. " Urdu came into being only around mid to late 1700's. The first Lal Kitab was written only in 1938/39. ======== " without the element of punctuation " -- ======== REPLY: Pt Roop Chand was a perfectionist to a fault. He took the utmost care to ensure that the rules of grammar were not violated. Each textual sentence in the book is ended with an Urdu full stop which is actually a dash (-). Of course, the Lal Kitab Urdu is sprinkled with Punjabi and therefore, slightly hard to understand here and there for non-Punjabis, but that is not true of the entire book. Also Panditji used distinct fonts to distinguish between verses and textual portions. " Dalda " versions of Lal Kitab have really confused people. The imitators copied the footnotes without providing the reference to what the footnotes were for. Similarly, chapter headings and the associated text has been mixed together (by the imitators.) And these " learned " folks blame LalKitab for their own ignorance. Let me say this. Each Lal Kitab contained " correction pages " or " correction slip " which used to be available from the bookseller – Calcutta Photo House in Amritsar. How can such a perfectionist not pay attention to punctuation? See the original Lal Kitab and you will be coinvinced. ===== " The authorship is unknown... " ====== I have contacted these people in the past (via phone and internet) and tried to correct them that Pt Roop Chand Joshi is the originator cum author of this system and they know this but they keep displaying their ignorance. Most of these remedial measure are harmless but these reduce Lal Kitab into a book of " lateefas. " For example, if you have kidney problems and continue taking potassium, which is contained in many brands of multi-vitamin tablets as a supplement, you can cause yourself very serious problems. Similarly, do you know that in certain cases, wearing a gold ring can cause severe problems? Read this in Lal Kitab. Also, some of these remedial measures are purely fictional. There is a combination in the Lal Kitab which talks about being bitten by a dog. Not only that, but what color of dog (and cow) to feed is also specified. I am not being overly skeptical but I do want to guard you against the tendency to " generalize " Lal Kitab into a set of " Totkaas. " -------------------------------- My apologies to Mr Bhargava but I know that he hasn't written this. So the criticism is NOT AT ALL directed towards him. It's meant towards the quacks. Also, I want to inform the members of this forum so that they are not " disinformed. " I look forward to your comments. Best regards to all.
