Guest guest
My fellow LalKitabists, In this age of " Certification " (MCSE, Oracle DBA etc.) it should come as no surprise that there is a Lal Kitab certification also. I had earlier sent you this exam that I found on the 'net. But if you read it carefully, you will find that this is so flawed. I bet the " paper setter " does not know what he/she is asking about. To illustrate my point, let us look at it in a bit more detail. === Question 3: " What is Dasha cycle of planets according to Lal kitab and also describe why the dasha cycle starts with saturn. " Now, is this a correct question to ask? I mean, where does it say in the Lal Kitab system that the Dasha Cycle starts with Saturn? From what I understand (And I could be VERY wrong) the Lal Kitab " cycle " always starts from Jupiter, regardless. There is a 35 year cycle that repeats itself. Even if he/she is talking about " Mahadasha " (strictly according to Lal Kitab) it does NOT necessarily start with Saturn at all. It happens when a planet becomes a " Mahadasha " planet (unlike Vinshottari in classical astrology, which depends upon the nakshatra of the birth and a " balance of dasha " has to be calculated. === Question 7: The given horoscope does NOT show Moon anywhere; instead it mentions Mars twice (In Virgo and Pisces). Then he/she has the audacity to ask the question: " vi. What is the position of Mars in this Teva ? " What would be the answer here? I wonder if this is a " trick question " where the position of Mars is given in two different Rashis and then a question about this is asked. Really weird!! Questions iv and ix in question 7: What is the difference between these two questions? " Manda " means malefic as does " bad result. " PLUS without quizzing the native (i.e.tewewala) about suspected happenings, how can you ascertain that a plant is debilitated and rush in to suggest a " remedie " Another Comment: " iii Which Rin dosa is there in the Teva ? " A " Rin Dosa " is NEVER NEVER to be judged from just one person's horoscope only. If there is a " pitri rin " present in a horoscope, it MUST ALWAYS be verified based on the entire family's horoscope and the actual happenings. Lal Kitab clearly spells this out. Otherwise there is a potential for disastrous results. ------------- Any comments friends? How come no one is commenting on anything at all? I don't want to be the only one writing. Come on, please. Guest guest
I was interested in Shri Rajinder Bhatia's comment in an early posting to this site some years ago: A " Rin Dosa " is NEVER NEVER to be judged from just one person's horoscope only. If there is a " pitri rin " present in a horoscope, it MUST ALWAYS be verified based on the entire family's horoscope and the actual happenings. Lal Kitab clearly spells this out. Otherwise there is a potential for disastrous results. In my family, three siblings have Sun and Saturn in the same house and the fourth has them in opposition (one seven position). The father had Moon and Saturn in the same house. Is this a rin dosha in the family? What kind of rin dosha? Remedies? Regards.
