Friends,

I am very excited to see that finally there is a Lal Kitab forum. I

have known about Lal Kitab since 1962 and I have followed this system

ever since. I am neither a professional astrologer nor do I want to

become one but Lal Kitab has been an inseperable part of my life.

I've had the privelege of having numerous meetings with the

originator/author of this system, the Late Pt Roop Chand ji Joshi and

I am in constanst touch with his son, Pt Som Dutt Joshi. All I can

say is that this is a God-sent, amazingly wonderful system of

astrology. Unfortunately, very few people have seen/read the original

Lal Kitabs (Five different volumes were published between 1938 and

1952) and what is available in the market place is generally, poorly

transliterated work. Fortunately, I have access to all the volumes in

original Urdu (No, LalKitab was NOT written or translated from Arabic

or Farsi, as is commonly being claimed by numerous so

called " experts " )

 

I'd like to suggest that rather than just providing people

with " upayas " or remedial measures and/or " predicitions " , let us try

to discuss how and why as astrologers, we reach a particular

sugestion/prediction. That way, it will help us, the Lal Kitab

enthusiasts, in learning from each other.
