Guest guest
Namaste, You can download the test version " 7.33 alpha " below: http://www.vedicastrologer.org/jh/test/jh_update.zip It is less than 1 MB in size. The update should go very fast. The changes from 7.32 include: (1) JHora uses the correct time zone for the modified US daylight savings time during March, but the time it gets from the computer clock to make a new chart is sometimes wrong by one hour. This is fixed. (2) Deva-datta and Chanda Hari ayanamsas were badly broken in JHora 7.32. If you change ayanamsa to one of these, it works fine during that run. If you close JHora and re-open it, the ayanamsa is grossly wrong. This is fixed. After installing this update, open the ayanamsa dialog, choose what you want and make sure that the correction to be applied (in the customization area) is manually edited to zero. In 7.32, even if you set it to zero, next opening of JHora would insert a huge correction value there. That is fixed. (3) Mrityu sahama and paradesa sahama should use the same formula in day and night. Previous versions erroneously reversed the formula at night, which is wrong. So these sahamas were wrong in night time charts. This is fixed. (4) Chakra dasa taght by Parasara is added in the " Other dasas " tab. (5) If the timezone of the default location saved in preferences is different from the timezone on your computer, JHora 7.32 was blindly taking the time given by computer and assuming it to be in the timezone of the default location. Now it finds the timezone used by computer and adjusts for the timezone of the default location. So the new chart made always contains current time and co-ordinates of the default location. Guest guest
Dear Narasimha: I just tried to download the test version after reinstalling JH 7.32. I received an error message " Code 5 Delete File failed " I retried it, and it also did not allow the operation. My choices are to override or cancel. What do you recommend? Thank you, Janna jhora , Narasimha PVR Rao <pvr wrote: > > Namaste, > > You can download the test version " 7.33 alpha " below: > > http://www.vedicastrologer.org/jh/test/jh_update.zip > > It is less than 1 MB in size. Guest guest
namaste, Sri Narasimha Rao. May Lord Ganesh remove all obstacles from your path and grant you peace and prosperity is all things. Please forgive, but I am having difficulty staying up with all these updates! I have just now installed JH 7.3. What is the proper procedure for upgrading to JH 7.33? Is the 7.33 update you have posted 'cumulative' from JH 7.3 install? Or do I need to install some or all intermediate update even though they will introduce the errors you have identified? Thank you for your time and help with these questions. namaste, David LaGrone Glen Rose, TX, USA
Guest guest
Namaste, If you have JHora 7.3 or later installed and running on your computer, THEN only the update will work. Close all JHora windows (if running) and then run jh_update.exe that you get by unzipping the zip file jh_update.zip. If you have a pre-7.3 version (e.g. 7.2), then this update will not work. Please first install 7.3 or 7.32 and then try "updating" to 7.33 alpha. Guest guest
Dear Narasimha, I now have successfully upgraded to JH 7.33 by turning off the computer, then installing the upgrade to JH 7.32, and this time did not receive an error message, with the version now showing 7.33 and the time in synch with the computer time, even though I have kept the settings according to the adjustment I made earlier to the time zone. Thank you for your time and patience in correcting this bug for all! Best regards, Janna jhora , " Narasimha P.V.R. Guest guest
JHora does not have any search feature. You can use jHora to find this manually your self.
