Bug in Tithi Pravesha of Jagannatha Hora

Namaste, It is not a bug. The teaching of Pt Sanjay Rath is to take the tithi in the solar month of birth. Your son was born on Jyestha Sukla Chaturdasi in Mithuna maasa (i.e. when Sun is in Ge). When Jyestha Sukla Trayodasi returns in 2009 (June 5, 2009 night), it is Vrishabha maasa (i.e. Sun is in Ta). So we go to the next (Ashadha) Sukla Chaturdasi when Sun is in Ge. This is based on Pt Sanjay Rath's teaching. However, it is also possible to not mix up solar months with soli-lunar days (tithis) and take the soli-lunar month only. To do that, click "Preferences" in the main menu and then "Related to calculations" and "Tithi Pravesha Calculation Options". The checkbox "Use solar (as opposed to soli-lunar) months in Tithi Pravesha" is checked by default, so that you use the definition taught by Pt Sanjay Rath. If you

uncheck it, the soli-lunar month of TP will always match that at birth. Sun may sometimes be in a different sign. Your son's annual TP chart will come on Jyeshtha Sukla Chaturdasi. For the record, when Pt Snajay Rath taught me TP for the first time more than 10 years ago, he did mention both the methods and said that solar month may be correct and asked me to program it. But he asked me to try soli-lunar months also and see which one works better. Best regards,

While doing tithi Pravesha for 2009, the software shows July 6, 2009 (Ashada Sukla Chatyrdashi) instead of June 6, 2009 (Jyeshta Sukla Chaturdashi).

I am curious about his horoscope, since it contains multiple parivartanas. Please if you could give your opinion on his horoscope, I would be thankful.
