Dear Narasimha Rao ji & Other Gurujis,

Namaskar!

I wish to submit

some of my views regarding JH.

I am a beginner

in astrology. You have already given us a wonderful free software still we want

some more comforts from it. Kindly excuse me. Just I wanted to bring it to your

attention.

4 Features required in J-Hora

Software in future:

`Search Charts' Feature

Example: One of my friends (an astrologer) is using Jagannatha Hora

- he is still amazed by the rich features and broadness of Jhora even after

using it for 2 years. He has about 6000 horoscopes in JHora. But, he often feels

uneasy while searching for horoscopes that match a certain condition say `Moon

in 5th house' as it takes a lot of time.

I hope many astrologers and learners of astrology (like me) would

have the same problem.

If JH has this

option, I am sure that lot of them would get benefit from it.

For example, in Parashara Light software there are various search features

- e.g. you can find how many ( & which) charts are there with cancer

ascendant? How many are with Sun in Aries sign & so on.

(Please don't mistake me that I am comparing; I mention for the sake

of understanding only)

Bhava Strength Display

Can we get a snapshot view of the bhava positions of planets i.e. Bhava Maddhiya & Bhava Sandhi? (I saw in one of the commercial software in Coimbatore

- Tamilnadu, which gives the details in percentage also).

Yogas in Bhava Chart

We are not able to see

what are the yogas present w.r.t. Bhava chart.

In the section "Strengths -> Other Strengths -> Yogas". Suppose

we want to see yogas for say Navamsa chart or Dasamsa chart, we can select from

the list in no time. But, the important thing "Bhava / Chalit Chakra" is not available

in the list.

I believe it is important because Dr.B.V.Raman have insisted to ascertain

the yogas only after looking at the bhava chart.

Better way for Chart Notes

Already there is an option in Edit menu "Edit -> Chart Notes (in

Notepad)". But, I feel this option does not serve the purpose much. Please give

some option to customize this. For example, so that we can use Wordpad (RTF

support!) if we want. With this, we can create a wordpad document as template

and easily maintain various details of every chart with a neat and a really

useful format.

This little option would then be highly beneficial for all of us.

Hope I am writing something useful to all.

Thanks from the bottom of the heart!
