Guest guest
Dear Gurujis, Namaskar. I am posting this message third time! Somebody Please help! I studied in some classics and contemporary books that planets become combust when they come in different degrees from Sun. The combustion degrees as mentioned are: Mars: 17 deg, Sat 15º, Jup 11º, Ven 10º, Mer 14º. I checked in software such as Parashara Light, Horoscope Explorer. These software follow the same system as mentioned above. But, when I checked in JHora software (in 'Combustion' option under the 'Basics'tab), it seems that JHora shows a planet as combust only when it is within Plus or Minus 6 degrees from Sun. Example Chart: 18-May-1981, 10.05 a.m. IST, Birthplace: 77 E 15, 10 N 35. All softwares show that Mars is combust then. But, JHora shows no planet is combust. Can I be enlightened -- Why JHora follows such a logic? Thanks & Regards, Vino.
Guest guest
Dear Vino If the SW does not shows the astha status as per the normal laid down astha rules by Parasher, it might be that SW is designed in such a way. But an astro does not relies the astha status from the SW. It is our knowldege on which we hv to rely. We can only rely on the SW that the basic janma kundali & its bifercation are correctly made. Guest guest
Dear Shri Haresh Nathani, i am afraid that i did not convey my question correctly! Why JHora SW follows such a logic? If this is the wiser perspective, then i can follow this. So why I asked. i am just trying to decide which is the right or better way of judging the combustion. BTW, What's your opinion on this - individual degrees or 6º for all? Thanks & Regards, Vino. jhora , " Haresh \(Harry\) Nathani " <haresh1405 wrote: > > Dear Vino > > If the SW does not shows the astha status as per the normal laid down astha rules by Parasher, it might be that SW is designed in such a way. Guest guest
Dear Vino Parasher has laid certain degrees of combustion, but I honestly speaking do not understand why this SW shows different. Yes one possibility, just trying to be speculative, is that the designer of this SW must have followed certain principle. Shri PVR Narashiman will be the right person to answer this query.
