JHora 7.32 beta ready for testing

The coordinates you mention are in Poland which is in 1 hour East of GMT timezone. But you are using 1 hour West of GMT and you put the place itself in Massachusetts, USA.

Clear all the incorrect data. Just enter the name of the place and let JH find the coordinates, country and timezone. If it does not have the place in its database then only use the override option. JH certainly has a Czarnow.

Do these simple things correctly, do a little bit of sanity check and then report if the problem still persists.--- On Sun, 1/11/09, raghu <raghu wrote:

JH has not a Czarnow (50N47 15E55)

but I think it will be working good.

Dear Narasimha

I made the mistake, because Czarnow (50N47

Now I entered a good time zone.

Re: JHora 7.32 beta ready for testing

Namaste,

I

saw the image you sent. The longitude is 15E55. The timezone you entered

manually is 1 hour west of GMT. From the longitude and latitude, this place

seems to be in Poland. That should probably be 1 hour east of GMT. So I think

you are getting a wrong sunrise because you entered a wrong time zone.

If

you enter 1 hour east of GMT, sunrise will be at 8:01 am. This is with the

default sunrise definition of Sun's center on the east. If you use the third

option (Sun's upper tip apparent on the eastern horizon), it is a little more

7:55 am.

Please

check if you entered a wrong time zone.

Best

regards,

Narasimha

The coordinates you mention are in Poland which is in 1 hour East of GMT timezone. But you are using 1 hour West of GMT and you put the place itself in Massachusetts, USA.

Clear all the incorrect data. Just enter the name of the place and let JH find the coordinates, country and timezone. If it does not have the place in its database then only use the override option. JH certainly has a Czarnow.

Namaskar PVR Narasimha ji,

I am student of yours - from the Mp3 classes. i do use JHora ( i

use linux debian so - jhora is used via wine and it do work fine)

Thanks for both the gifts.

Now the purpose of the mail - is when we try to rectify a chart

using divisional charts - and try to change the langa to previous

or next sigh in some vargas the langa wont change but the time will

change in the main page - mostly seen when if trying to do this

D 20

I am not able to understand why it is. Is it so because of the lack

of through knowledge, in the calculation of the D-20 varga, the

signs to which planets wont fall -or is it error bug -?

How to solve

Thanks

Nandana

Namaste,

I saw the image you sent. The longitude is 15E55. The timezone you entered manually is 1 hour west of GMT. From the longitude and latitude, this place seems to be in Poland. That should probably be 1 hour east of GMT. So I think you are getting a wrong sunrise because you entered a wrong time zone.

If you enter 1 hour east of GMT, sunrise will be at 8:01 am. This is with the default sunrise definition of Sun's center on the east. If you use the third option (Sun's upper tip apparent on the eastern horizon), it is a little more 7:55 am.

Please check if you entered a wrong time zone.

It is still called 7.32 beta. This is the release candidate, unless critical bugs are found.Compared to yesterday's release, this has the following changes:(1) Annotation of starting point chosen in shashtihayani dasa is fixed.(2) Avayogi calculation is fixed.(3) If one's display has a horizontal size of more than 1280 (e.g.1600x1200 or 1440x1080 or 1920x1080 etc), then a "packed chart mode"is available (see the pop-up menu on charts). It shows 6 differentdivisional charts (instead of the normal two) in all chart windows,i.e. next to dasas, next to basic calculation etc.Best regards,Narasimha------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- -Do a Short Homam Yourself: http://www.VedicAst rologer.org/

I use Bhrigu Bindu only in transits. Is there any other application?

The longitude is 15E55.

The timezone you entered manually is 1 hour west of GMT. From the longitude and latitude, this place seems to be in Poland. That should probably be 1 hour east of GMT. So I think you are getting a wrong sunrise because you entered a wrong time zone.> Â > If you enter 1 hour east of GMT, sunrise will be at 8:01 am. This is with the default sunrise definition of Sun's center on the east. If you use the third option (Sun's upper tip apparent on the eastern horizon), it is a little more 7:55 am.> Â > Please check if you entered a wrong time zone.> Â > Best regards,> Narasimha> ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------> Do a Short Homam Yourself: http://www.VedicAst rologer.org/ homam> Do Pitri Tarpanas Yourself: http://www.VedicAst rologer.org/ tarpana> Spirituality: http://groups. / group/vedic- wisdom> Free Jyotish lessons (MP3): http://vedicastro. home.comcast. net> Free Jyotish software (Windows): http://www.VedicAst rologer.org> Sri Jagannath Centre (SJC) website: http://www.SriJagan nath.org> ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- > > - > raghu > jhora > Sunday, January 11, 2009 1:44 AM> RE: Re: JHora 7.32 beta ready for testing> > > > > > For
