Guest guest
Dear Narasimha Rao Ji & Other Gurujis, Namaskar. I am posting this message second time! I am a beginner in astrology and use Jagannatha Hora software for about an year. Please clarify the 'Planetary Combustion' Logic used in JHora. I studied in some classics and contemporary books that planets becomes combust when they come in different degrees from Sun. The combustion degrees as mentioned are: Mars: 17 deg, Sat 15º, Jup 11º, Ven 10º, Mer 14º. I checked in software such as Parashara Light, Horoscope Explorer. These software follow the same system as mentioned above. But, when I checked in JHora ('Combustion' option under the 'Basics' tab), it seems that JHora shows a planet as combust only when it is within Plus or Minus 6 degrees from Sun. Example Chart: 18-May-1981, 10.05 a.m. IST, 77 E 15, 10 N 35. All softwares show that Mars is combust then. But, JHora shows no planet is combust. Can I be enlightened -- Why JHora follows such a logic? Is there any option in JHora to set different degrees of combustion for each planet? Thanks & Regards, Vino.
