Gurujis,

Namaskar!

First of all, I thanks Narasimha Rao Guruji a lot for giving such a

wonderful software and that too as a completely Freeware. I still

stand amazed even after using JH for about a year! I am sure that JH

is a prototype of best astrology software.

(Though Narasimha Rao Guruji had told all not to thank him, I could

not stop thanking; Pls excuse me)

I am a beginner in astrology. I wish to submit two of my doubts in

using JH.

1. COMBUSTION

I studied in some classics and contemporary books that planets becomes

combust in different degrees from Sun. The combustion degrees are --

Mars: 17 deg, Sat 15, Jup 11, Ven 10 [or 8 if retrograde], Mer 14 [or

12 if retrograde].

I checked in software apps such as Parashara Light, Horoscope

Explorer. These software apps the follow the same system as mentioned

above.

But, Jagannatha Hora software uses same degree for all planets. I

think JH considers a planet combust when it is within +/- 6 degrees to

Sun. Why JH follows a different logic?

Is there any option in Jagannatha Hora to set different degrees for

each planet?

2. Another little issue in Jagannatha Hora. Help menu -> Contents

submenu -> Find dialogbox is not working. Whatever I enter, it is

always empty. Nothing I could find using it. Because of this, we are

not able to make use of the good built-in help feature of JH fully.

Does this issue occur only in my computer or all face the same issue?

Gurujis, Pl enlighten me on these two issues.

Thanks & Regards,

Vino.
