dear sir ,

 

with total respect to what ever you have said, i have no qualification to disagree with you.

but just let me clearly mention what visti exactly said in his class...

 

he said , that lets say for example venus is 4th house lord (cancer lagna ) , if no matter what position venus is placed in the chart , except exaltation , if a person with cancer lagna were to ever do " aum dram drim draum sah shukraya namah " , it would never make the graha friendly towards the native , instead have undesirable results @ home / education or with the mother ... she could fall ill and stuff !

 

visit said that due to past karma , venus had taken up such a postiion (4th lord), so give us results of our karma , so with a graha beeja mantra we cannot make venus act friendly towards us.

 

I have always believed that the 9 grahas being incarnations of sri vishu , and also as mentioned in BHPS by Maharshi Parasara , that Bramha has instructed the grahas to not harm anybody , who worships them !!

 

so basically , eve graha mantras done with devotion , pure hearted ness and sincerety , should not harm.

 

but what could be visti's logic when he says something like this ? just trying to figure out .....

Point 1 is a moot point because there is hardly anybody today who has enough spiritual purity to use Gayatri mantra or another mantra and infuse a gem. A lot theories may be there, but they are all irrelevant today.
