I want to buy commercial version of S/W for my own learning use only. Could you please provide the details.

Namaste, The last dasamsa of an odd sign and the first dasamsa of an even sign are in the same sign. That is why you see lagna in the same sign in D-10 even after you change the time. But, if you see lagna in rasi, you will see that it will have changed. The last 3 deg of Le and the first 3 deg of Vi are different dasamsas, even if they fall in the same sign in D-10 chart. Dear Kiran,

 

The best one now is JH, which God Bless Narasimha!

you can download for free.

 

'Parashara Light' is a good SW, and fancy- grafically looks really beautiful-

but doesn't have more necessary features than JH. It has 'library' though, where

you can find some jyotish basics, muhurta, etc.. Varshapala interpretations as

well /I never use any of these, they are like all computer generated reports,

too general/ Big minus is lack of TP charts. KP users would definitevely prefer

PL.

I hardly ever use PL6/7 /for KP only/, since the last edition of JH.

Kiran sent me a private mail and said that he saw some menus greyed out. So he thought he needed to buy in order to use those menus.

 

In general, only menus that are inapplicable in the current context are greyed out. For example, if you click on a chart but not on a planet, "when will this planet chang sign" and several things in "relationships" are greyd out.
