Guest guest
Namaste, JHora licensing mechanism uses a machine ID that depends on software (operating system) properties rather than fixed hardware properties. So the ID can change, though it seldom does. A couple of people had problems in the beginning - their machine ID was changing after every reboot. They received an upgrade and everybody shipped the software later received the upgraded version. Some people's machine ID's changed after they re-installed operating system or made some changes to their computers or installed a particular software etc and they were given new license keys immediately. Though I ignore most mails related to astrological consulting, I always reply immediately to license key requests from existing JHora customers. Before I started ignoring your mails, I sent you several license keys. I finally decided not to give any more license keys to you and told you that I would send you a new upgrade and asked you to wait for it. I am sorry that it is taking a bit longer than I expected, but you will have to wait till I give you the upgrade. Please do not keep sending me 5 different license requests everyday. I have a newer version that generates the machine ID based on fixed hardware properties. With this, machine ID should never change. From my point of view, you are sending 3-5 mails everyday with more and more new machine IDs and asking for license keys. I cannot continue to keep giving license keys. You will have to wait. I may be able to send the upgrade this weekend. [The general release for all customers is still not ready.] Regarding installing the software on another Windows 2000 computer, I have no problem with it. When you said it, I did send you the license key for the machine ID you sent. But the problem is that you keep sending 3-5 license key requests everyday. I get lost in the flood of your requests and don't know which one is for the Windows 2000 computer. If you send ONE mail with the machine ID of the Windows 2000 computer and clearly mark the mail, I can still send you the license key. In the beginning, a couple of people had problems and they were fixed. You are the first one to keep getting 5 different machine ID's everyday, even with the fixed version. From my perspective, I have no way of knowing what is going on. The best way to solve this is to get the latest version. Then this will certainly not happen. BTW, my email addresses are pvr108 and pvr both work. If they don't, try jhora-help .
