Om Namah ShivayaDear List,I was wondering if Ketu is not considered of moment in calculating this dasa at all, and if so, why? Or, is there an issue with JHora? I have ver 7.2. Thanks for explaining. Best regards,Patheya

Namaste Patheya,

Ketu doesn't have a period in Dwisaptati sama dasha. In fact it is

overseer/governer of the dasa. Tithi Ashtottari Dasa is another

example of a dasa where Ketu doesn't have a period. If you want more

details, you can refer to this article by Pt. Sanjay Rath:

http://srath.com/lessons/advanced/72dasa.htm.

Not all nakshatra dasas have periods of all grahas. For example,

dwadosattari dasa doesn't have a Venus period, Chaturaseethi sama dasa

has periods of neither Rahu nor Ketu.

This is not a bug in the software.

Regards

Atreya

Om Namah ShivayaThank you Avinash Atreya ji and Sanjay Prabhakaran ji for the education. I'm sure there'd be some interesting legend behind this; I'll chase up the references you have mentioned.
