Guest guest
Guru PVR Ji, I have following problem in J Hora version 7.2. (a) My elder daughter was born in Madras (80E70,13N05) at 18:40 on February 26,1980. I had taken her birth charts print out in year 2001. Her Lagna was shown as 22Le11:14:47, with D-1 in Le and D-9 in Li. I had been examining her chart periodicall whenever there was need. (b) In 2007, I downloaded the current version of J Hora. Now her lagna is shown as 19Le58:19:43.The Longitude and Latitude are same for Madras. Her D-1 is in Le. BUT, her D-9 has changed to Li,and also her other charts , D-6,D-8,D-11,D-45,D-60,D-12,D-3,D-7,D-20 and D-24 have also changed. This has caused problems in my previous analytical notes on her charts. I shall be thankful, if you could guide me as to which bith charts I shold now consider ?I have copies of birth charts of many of my clients, taken out in past 5-6 years,I am not sure, whatever analysis I give now, will be OK ?I shall wait for your guidance. With my kind regards. Guest guest
Namaste, I cannot imagine why a previous version of JHora (or any other software for that matter) will give 22Le11 as the longitude of lagna for the data you gave, if Lahiri ayanamsa is chosen. I wonder if you entered a custom ayanamsa in the previous JHora and saved it without realizing it. Lagna should be around 19Le58 for the data you gave. JHora 7.2 is correct. Most accurate softwares should show in the same ballpark with Lahiri and 22Le11 is simply impossible with Lahiri. In previous versions of JHora, ayanamsa was programmed with a small error. JHora 7.2 corrects it. However, the difference should only by a few arc-sec or arc-min and not in degrees. Namaste Prasad, Regarding the differences between "Janma Kundali 2.3.1" and JHora, I am not sure if the former is accurate enough or not. However, JHora calculations are based on the reputed "Swiss Ephemeris" engine, which in turn is based on the latest nasa database. If another software uses approximate analytical models, that could cause differences. However, you are saying that the difference is more prominent in lagna and that surprises me. If the planetary model is inaccurate, Moon should have the most error and not lagna. Guest guest
Guru PVR Ji, Namaste, Yes I too am at a loss to understand the glitch. I strongly feel that something can be wrong with my system. I will definitely delete the programme from my system, and re-load it afresh, tomorrow. However,I will further add that when I open the J Hora ,it gives correct details about the planatory positions,Nakshatras,Yogas, with very slight difference from the best Panchanga, which are used in North India. That is not a issue. Now, in the case of my younger daughter, who was also born in Madras at 7:20 am,June 21,1985, her lagna was showing as 27 Ge:00'29.32:, and now it shows as 28Ge27' 29.32 " . The Chara Karkas have changed,Nakshatras for Su,Ju and Ven have changed. Most importantly, The Saturn® which was in 28Li44'59.39 " in Vis-1, is now in 0Sc11'59.39' in Vis 4 ? I feel very embarassed myself to bring it to your notice, but if I do not do it, I perhaps may be committing some wrong.I request you to please have a look into the matter at your end with the master copy. However, I will reload the software and send you the report. With my best reagrds, Raj Bhardwaj jhora , " Narasimha P.V.R. Guest guest
Dear Raj ji, I have gone thru your calculation. I am sure that you are using Dr BV Raman Ayanamsha. Please change it to Lahiri Ayanamsha to get accurate calculation. Step to Preference (in Menu Bar), then select " Raleted to calculation " ie first drop down. From drop down menu, select Ayanamsha. After clicking the Ayanamsha, you will get a drop down button. from there select Lahiri Ayanamsha and press OK. You will get right calculation. Hope that, this will clear your doubt. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay Sinhaji, Thanks for your guidance. I hv confirmed in my previous mail that I only use Lahiri Ayanamansh, when I was advied by Sanjay Prabhakar to check the same.I am deleting all my old files from my system and the J hora too, and I am downloading afresh. I am in the process of noting down the birth data data history, which I have stored since 2001, so that I can again feed the Data. Meanwhile I am anxiously waiting for guidance from Guru PVR Ji also. Meanwhile I will make a humble request to you to help me. Kindly feed the birth data of my daughter, given in my mail,in your system and kindly inform me what basic data you get.I will be thankful to you for this help!
