Guest guest
Hello, I having been trying to study the shodasottari dasa in a chart using JHora (new and older version) and cannot understand the following: The antardashas do not start from the mahadasa lord. For eg. the sequence of antardashas in the Su mahadasa is Ve, Me, Mo, Ke, Sa, Ju, Ma, Su. I have tried to look at the literature and neither Sanjayji's book (Udu dasas) not Sumeet Chughji's book (Conditional dasas) seem to indicate that the antardasa sequence should be non-standard. I have tried to look for options in JHora to try and change this behavior and have not found anything. Other jyotish software (eg. Maitreya5) seem to compute the standard order for the antardashas. Can someone please guide as to what I am missing? Many thanks. Kind regards to all. Porus Lakdawala
Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah ||Dear Porus, Shodashottari dasa (116 Years) governor is Rahu. The Antardasa goes in reverse order after skipping one. Just as an FYI, there are three ways to reckon antardasa One the normal way, Ketu and Rahu way. The Ketu way just skips the starting MD ruler and begins(Refer the Ashottari antardasa).
