Guest guest
Hi all, I am a beginner in astrology and have been going through the audio files of sri PVR. I have applied the principles taught by PVR to my siddhamsa and infact i also tried to do birth time rectification based on strong facts about me. However, tonight i was trying to do the same to one of my close friend and i encountered this strange problem. We know that we can shift Lagna in any chart to the previous or next sign. its a simply process. but strangely though, only in siddhamsa, when i rightclicked on the lagna and clicked on " change lagna to next sign " lagna actually shifted to the third place from its original place i.e. it jumped one sign. i was wondering if there was some problem. so i tried doing this lagna shift in other varga charts and it all functioned perfectly. i opened my chart and tried to shift lagna in siddhamsa to the next sign and it worked fine. But when i do the same to my friend's chart, lagna actually skips one sign completely. Lagna was in gemini originally and after the change it goes to leo instead of cancer. My friends birth data is Aug 9, 1979, 5:05 PM, Bangalore. I am now wondering if there is some technicality in the way siddhamsa is plotted which makes it skip the cancer rasi for lagna for this particular birth data ! it would be great if someone could throw some light on this.
