Om Gurave Namah

Namaste Narasimha Ji and Members,

Thanks for providing a revised version, which I have installed and

using successfully on my Windows Vista.

I remember, you or some one had mentioned some time ago, saying that,

in JHora we can choose a different rasi as lagna and get the

calculation on the fly. For example, I would like to see the Rasi

chart moving the AL as lagna and see the yogas and other related

caluculations etc.,

Can you please tell me what options I should use them to get the

above. I normally use the South Indian format and have attempted

various right mouse click options, but could not see any such option

hence this request.

Regards

Dear Raghunatha,

I think this option was mentioned for North-India (Venus Charts).

Where you could make other houses come at the top as lagna.

Warm Regards

Sanjay P

Namaste Raghunath,

What Sanjay P mentioned is the only thing I know that kind of fits

your description. You can display north Indian charts w.r.t. a

different. This is just for the sake of displaying the chart and

finding quadrants, trines etc from a chosen reference quickly.

For the purpose of finding yogas and other things, there is no way

to consider a different sign as lagna. Of course, you can change the

birthtime to get lagna in the sign of interest and then find yogas.

Best regards,

Narasimha

Om Gurave Namah

Namaste Sanjay P Ji,

Thanks for the reply and I have tried what you have suggested and

could not see any options in the North Indian Style Chart.

Can you suggest any other for me to get there.

Also, a side note, some how I am not comfortable in reading other than

South Indian style chart. I know I must be able to read comfortably

all types of charts, but why such a in-built interest to a particular

type of chart. Can you please throw some light on why an astrologer

chooses one particular type of chart : either in this group, or write

to me privately or write in our sohamsa group, if you think they are

appropriate to answer such queries.

Thanks for your help in advance.
