Can you kindly throw some light on the above. I am specifically interested in the logic of not having Ketu in a dasa that focuses on the experiences of the soul? Guest guest Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 Namaste, Just like Drigdasa, I changed AK kendradi graha dasa based on Parasara's teachings in BPHS and changed the definition in JHora. In the case of drigdasa, I got a chance to create an option to use the old version or Parasara's one. In the case of AKKG dasa, I did not get that chance and released the software with the latest version that I am using. In fact, this version was not taught anywhere yet and I think I inadvertantly released a software with it. In a future version, I will give both the versions. The logic is this. After teaching to take planets in kendras, panapharas and apoklimas from atmakaraka, Parasara uses the word "karakas" to describe these planets who have dasas. So he is referring to taking the chara karakas based on their relationship with AK. AKKG dasa shows how various chara karakatwas play out in life w.r.t. the soul (AK). Ketu is not a chara karaka and hence he is not included. The option button was not there in this dasa in 7.02. It is for research and for finding AKKG dasa for a divisional chart like navamsa. It was not planned for public distribution and inadvertantly added in 7.1 (first build). Anyway, now that it was released with that button once, I will make that option a standard feature in future versions.
