Guest guest
Hi PVR, I have a little suggestion for the version naming convention used in Jhora. This is just a suggestion and feel free to ignore if it doesn't make sense. For easy of communication and minimising potential confusion, I would like to suggest dropping the use of build numbering to differentiate between different jhora versions. It may be technically correct to use build numbers instead of a new version number but my feel is that the majority of your users may not be very IT savvy and this may cause potential misunderstanding and confusion. My suggestion is to stick to version numbers only and always use 2 decimal places even if the last decimal number is implied to be zero. For example: - Jhora 7.1 should be named Jhora 7.10. - Jhora 7.1 (Build 2) should be simply named Jhora 7.11. Any feature enhancement and bug fixes should increase this number by 0.01, 0.1 or 1.0. With this versioning convention, it is very easy for a layman to see if their current version is the latest by simply observing which version number is bigger. It is also easier for bug reporting and comparative analysis between different Jhora versions. Thank you. Best Wishes, Pushya
Guest guest
Dear Sri PVR, NAMASKAARAMALU I consider that the suggestion is good to consideration as we are not IT savvy as opined by Pushya. It is easy to follow numerical identity to compare for updation. May I take the oppertunity to thank you for the wounderful service you have provided through your soft ware? You area RISHI in my view. I have communicated to about 80 of my contacts who are astrologers, informing them about your upgrading the software. May God bless you and increase your tribe NAMASKAARAMALURamu pushya <pushya wrote: Hi PVR,I have a little suggestion for the version naming convention used inJhora.
